Interestingly enough, both of their voices sound broken: Monika’s seems stuck between her regular and pixel voices, and Senpai’s sounds like two voices at once. Fitting, isn’t it?
The story for this cover that I came up with:
After Senpai becomes self-aware, he and Monika begin working to find a way out of the games they’re in. They finally figure out a way to escape, but something goes wrong like in DDTO Bad Ending, and they both end up trapped in the code, their files destined to slowly decay and corrupt until they simply no longer exist. The worlds they left behind will be broken without them, and it’s likely that all the characters in both of their games will eventually meet the same fate. This is their final serenade before they resign themselves to their fate.
I feel really sorry for those two.
I hope they make it😰
