Hello!! back with a discussion about all the fall aesthetics and products we’re sold 🎃🍁 PS please comment for the algorithm, it helps a lot and I appreciate the support very much. Wishing you all the coziest day!! 🧡
When you mentioned the small aesthetically pleasing towns it validated me so much cause I've been trying to describe those kinds of towns that only seem to exist in Disney movies and shows. The boutique-style shops on the main street, high walkability, a town square that always is decked out for whatever season is depicted in the show/ movie. The whole town seems to be 30 miles away from the closest city but all the schools somehow still have hundreds of kids. Giant houses in suburbs that also have the 'main character' bedroom phenomena as well. Such a random train of thought but an interesting niche little topic. 😆
The Māori people in Aotearoa New Zealand have a lunar calendar called the Maramataka. Using certain natural signs, like the flowering of certain plants, it can be used as a guide as to when to plant certain crops, hunt certain animals etc. I've seen a lot of arguments about how this calendar, being associated with changes in the natural world, is a much better way of tracking the seasons. We may say Spring starts on September 1st here, but try telling that to the Kōwhai trees whose flowers are blooming in July! It's also another way of tracking the impact of climate change on the environment by seeing which natural signs have moved and how that impacts growing seasons etc.
There are many traditional ways of dividing the seasons, and the "starting on the Solstice/Equinox" method is nowhere near universal or official. I like to consider American Thanksgiving the day between fall and winter as it's the end of the main harvest and the beginning of preserving foods for the next year. Then Valentine's Day is the day between winter and spring, because it's a time of frozen mornings but flowers are blooming. Pentecost divides Spring from Summer, and Assumption Day divides Summer from Fall, as the main harvest begins and the nights are cooling off.
It's really interesting growing up in the UK, we have about 2 days of pretty autumn leaves and then it's basically just rain for 6 months and as a kid halloween wasn't such a big thing here and we never celebrated it but in the past few years I've seen the American fall crazes making their way over here more and more
yesss i feel like all uk people relate, leaves are already all gone and now it’s just dark, rainy and miserable. halloween is meh too, i feel like this is a completely american thing.
Totally depends where you are. I grew up in the north north and now I live in the south of England. The leaves are still on all the trees and it’s been very sunny this autumn. Thanks global warming…! It was 18 degrees this weekend. When and where I grew up we’d be lucky to get double figures. It was cold. But I do agree with the darkness. the only problem is the darkness thanks to daylight savings time…!
I have always lived in a place with no real seasons to speak of, but the past few years I have tried incorporating more and more seasonal elements into my daily life. Marking the passage of time by recognizing and doing certain things in certain seasons is supposedly good for fighting off depression and generally supporting mental health. Of course, this doesn't have to be all about seasonal decor and limited-time products. I like to give a different "theme" to each month and associate certain recipes to cook or doodles to draw in my journal with that month. This doesn't really require any additional spending (you could lump things like TV shows and movies you already own into this). It gives me something to look forward to and focus on for each month, and the fall ones are definitely very traditionally autumnal, so I can enjoy some of the vibe without melting in a chunky sweater.
I’m a spooky season and a cinnamon and spice fall season person but I just hate how quickly we all move over to Christmas! I like Christmas too but I want it to feel like it’s own separate thing
As a Brit it definitely feels like the American seasons have become more prevalent here. Even if we only have three weeks of ‘fall’ I don’t remember any pumpkin patches being visited when I was a kid. Though I do enjoy it as a vibe, the leaves this year have been 🔥🔥
Australian here. So yeah, we don't have deciduous trees naturally, and when the northern hemisphere is celebrating their "fall", it's spring here and usually starting to get hot already. Don't even get me started on the Christmas consumer bullplonk 😅 it's so insulting seeing fake snow decorations everywhere when it's hot as buggery outside.
Even though I live in the tropics and temperatures stay 80 degrees all year round, it's fascinating how the media and pop culture has created this nostalgic feeling in me which sets off when I get a glimpse of Halloween costumes, turkey feathers, and mistle toe. I find it humorous when I get so excited when the weather is cloudy around these months. My mind tells me to cover up with jackets and sweaters thinking it's cold when in reality, it's still 85 degrees and the humidity is 79% lmao.
I think as someone growing up in the north east US, celebrating seasons including Fall, was almost a way to help cope with the season change and days getting darker and colder. During the pandemic, decorating for the seasons was a way of coping almost with the opposite, the lack of change.
If you don't mind being 'basic' and if you are not worried about 'cringe' and keeping up with trends, the wonderful thing about celebrating autumn is that we can enjoy it in such simple, affordable ways. Like you said, you can live in comfortable, timeless basic clothes like boots and sweaters, you can enjoy affordable foods like soups and stews and homemade pie and hot cocoa, you can walk in nature and carve pumpkins and even decorate your house with nature. Its a season i can participate in nomatter how tough things are x
I was surprised that American PSL doesn't have pumpkin in it! In my country also exists a tradition of PSL, but our baristas do put some kind of pumpkin syrup in coffee. And it has a strong pumpkin taste!
You know.... I know very well that fall anesthetics was created for capitalization. But I still enjoy it and feel more happy and content during the fall season. I love pumpkin spice things and its scarcity make it more precious to me in terms of feeling, not the monetary aspect of it. And I love cozy sweaters And I am glad we have that season as a transition between summer and winter
i would argue that not all food enjoyed at a particular time of year is due to commodification- seasonal availability (depending on how you source your food) also creates distinct times for different foods. i was thinking about this the other day, and I believe the need to identify seasonally different commodities is a product of the type of relationship many have with food and ~nature~. a lack of a solid or availability to have a meaningful relationship (expense, access, ability) with these things creates a longing to differentiate seasons and consumerism makes it easy
As someone who tries to eat seasonally this is just how I grew up. My mom was raised on a farm and even though she left at 13 for the cities this is how we still eat more or less. Food just taste better in its actual season. If I buy berries right now they are frozen but I currently have like three varieties of apples lol
Thank you thank you for acknowledging how pumpkins are Native to Indigenous peoples on Turtle Island. I’m Native & my tribe is from “Mexico” and it’s annoying having to have a bunch of ppl make fun of me calling me basic for making pumpkin dishes (pumpkin flower soup, etc) and it’s frustrating having to explain how Pumpkins are Native to these lands and to our peoples & not a “Basic White Girl Thing” just like “poinsettias” which are also Native to these lands. Considering all the racism Indigenous People around these lands have faced, including IWCA & Immigration and racism/Colorism in MX, and the rest of the “Americas” it’s important to acknowledge this information & how much has been taken from our cultures while our pain has been minimized, white washed and acknowledged. Thank you 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
I don't even like the colours red, yellow or orange, but if they're leaves that are about to fall on the ground, it makes me ridiculously happy! I'm currently vibing under a fleecy blanket on the couch, smelling a pumpkin scented candle, and going to eat an apple crisp I made yesterday. I feel so energised in the autumn. Heat makes me lethargic and headache-y. I keep my autumn decor up until American Thanksgiving and then put up Christmas decor shortly thereafter - it kind of prolongs Halloween/cozy autumn feel for me.
In Alaska, if you blink during September you open your eyes again to see snow in October. There’s hardly a fall here. I remember feeling sad about that when I was younger and wanted the “fall feeling” but now I’m like GIVE ME SNOW 😂. Fall is fun and all, butttttt it’s so windy and rainy and messy and cold here.
those “basic” fall outfits are really practical and cute!! Most days I just want to be comfortable and look decent without a whole bunch of thought and I don’t think ppl should be shamed for that
I’m not a holiday person but i am a season person. I love cozy fall vibes and the renewal in spring. I live in the US south where seasons are not visually apparent, but the weather does differ and the upcoming chill is definitely, heavily welcomed.
i have always LOVED your internet analysis videos. they always make me feel connected to and understanding the world better. keep doing you & happy fall! :)
When the "It's Fall Y'all" decor came out it was so cute, years later I'm so over it. Reminds me of the front door "Welcome" sign, it's cute but everyone has it and it becomes an eye sore for me at this point. I live in GA btw lol
Although I have "thoughts" about our consumerist society (don't we all here), I do kinda wish there was as much a commotion and celebration for spring and summer as there is for fall and winter. Flowers and warm weather is where it's at for me, but sharing those feelings with others helps multiple the joy. And it just doesn't seem like there's as much joy from others around the warm weather, in my experience. Or maybe it's just not as easily accessible.
In my heart I am absolutely a spooky Halloween person, but I also live in the southern United States, so I can't reliably bring out my cooler weather wardrobe until after Halloween usually, so there's definitely some reserved excitement for the later part of the fall season.
Seasons as a commodity only make sense if you are a consumer. I don't buy home decor, I only have very few drinks from Starbuck's, I don't follow clothing trends,... you don't have to always spend money to enjoy things. Just go take a walk or cook with seasonal vegetables.
For me Fall is something of a feeling. Its refreshing, its the opprotunity to wear layers and wear my favorite colors. I love the 4 seasons, and i genuiely love pumpkins lol but I fucking hate how people do it because they think the fall season is a holiday. Im a enviromentalist and I cant handle how much stores push cheap decor on people
Literally watching in a sweater in “the cozy position” on the couch 🤣 Granted, I live in Wisconsin and it was 37* today so we’re firmly into sweater weather!
I'm from the UK and for me autumn is the best time of year. Growing up this season meant shorter days, bonfires/fireworks on Nov 5th, hot chocolate and eating apple crumble with a lot of custard! Fantastic video Tiffany x Also I recommend Kitchen & Jorns video on trying all Trader Joe's fall food items. It's very entertaining x
As someone born and raised in the tropics, I miss fall now (I am back in my home country^ 😔), I like it when fall comes around and the leaves get increasingly orange, yellow and red as the season goes. It's only second to winter as my favorite season 😌. (^you could kinda replicate the experience the experience by going somewhere located on a higher altitude, but still...while the temperature might feel similar the environment simply looks different 🥲)
This whole thing is always interesting as someone living in a westernised Southern Hemisphere country (Australia) because like it’s spring here, but all my feeds are autumn, and even our stores cause they’re international sometimes sell these fall themed products. And Halloween is so tied to the autumn aesthetic. And don’t get me started on Christmas, Christmas is by far my favourite holiday and one of my favourite times of year, but my favourite season is summer but Christmas vibes and decor are all winter vibes, it’s all very conflicting and I never know what vibes to channel
As a child of Nov. 1, both please, I like both. I love the whiplash of Halloween to thanksgiving/Christmas with my birthday squished somewhere within the span of 48 hours. How exciting!
I don't think it's very cozy.. The early darkness sucks the life out of me. Seasonal depression is real. I have to vacuum every other day because of the leaves, soil and other stuff from outdoors that enters my apartment on my shoes and my dog's paws. My electrical bills are also way more expensive. For me at least, the electricity cost has increased by 300% this fall. I've never experienced such an increase before. My favorite season is the spring.
I would SO TRADE the full seasons for warmer weather, I dont even live in such harsh climate (central Europe) but from October to March/April basically its all Seasonal Affective and ongoing sinuses infection season for me (tmi maybe), the whole fall feeling never got me, I enjoy Halloween and spooky season generally but I would trade for no season weather in a heartbeat! Ppl who dont have to bundle up with fleece tights for half a year have it easier lol 🎃💀
Tiffany bestie, you mean to say you are giving me permission to enjoy delicious pumpkin pie whenever I want to fight off the capitalist peer pressure?? I’m sold.
the whole pumpkin spice craze also reminds me of everything but the bagel seasoning. it's so interesting to look into specific groups of people on the internet based on the food that they really like
I live in Sweden were during fall it gets dark at like four and you can’t see anything at six. Seasonal depression is more common than not and it’s just the standard here for everyone to get depressed instead of aesthetic this time of year. We have some pumpkin spice but we basically treat it as summer and then as winter, no special fashion or shows. But consuming a lot of American media, I find myself excited for fall as well too now. Only for it to arrive and and the reality to hit me in the face. It’s really weird looking in as an outsider on the commodification of fall.
I really like the drop to a more bearable temperature - I struggle with the heat so a cosy jumper always gets me excited. I quite like Halloween but when I'm busy it passes me by. I dislike anything pumpkin or cinnamon flavoured so I don't feel like i can fully identify as a fall lover.
Great video!! Can we get videos about the other holiday seasons? Obvs Christmas is a huge topic you might have opinions on, but also what about the whole group of smaller holidays (valentines, st patricks day, easter, etc) that each get their own set of merch and decorations.
I love Fall. You have to get the few days in October to get that perfect shot. Pumpkin is seasonal. That’s why folks love it in Fall. Im an apple orchard, cider, and donut gal myself. I associate Fall to apple harvest.
I'm someone who feels like it isn't Halloween if I haven't had a bowl of Count Chocula and my partner foams at the mouth for the special winter season vanilla tootsie rolls. I also catapult straight from a month of Halloween into everything Christmas on November 1st and all my friends hate it :)
As a September Libra, fall has always been my favourite season. I literally wait all year for fall. Where I live in southern Washington, we have amazing autumns with brightly colored leaves and sunny blustery days. Not to mention the coffee culture we have being in the PNW. I have fond memories of leaves, bonfires, pumpkin patches, apple picking out at my grandpa's farm, etc. I think that a lot of fall is definitely tied into products and consumption, but most importantly it's your environment. Not everyone is lucky enough to have the right environment for that autumn feeling, so they create memories vicariously through media like Gilmore Girls, and so they re-watch it to recall the memories of the season.
November 1st I tried to order a PSL from Dunkin Donuts. They already had their winter holiday menu. I had to settle for some kind of white chocolate latte. A week later I tried for a 'pumpkin spice type' of latte at the indie coffee shop. nope. I wish 'big pumpkin' could compete with the holidays starting on Halloween.
She forgot about seasons at the base of the Rockies. Where all 4 four of them can take place in the span of a week or even a day 😂 it’s really jarring to be marketed fall everything and suddenly have 2 feet of snow on the ground in September
I think a lot of the pumpkin/food stuff has to do with the abundance of harvest seasonal produce that should be consumed while in season. I mean, to avoid food waste and eat local we really should be eating more seasonally anyways.
Even though I grew up in New England with something pretty close to the picturesque Fall ideal, I'm much more of a spooky Halloween person than a cozy pumpkin spice person. Though I do love a good apple cider donut.
This was so fun to listen to! Also I'm guilty of the Gilmore Gills fall-rewatching (which I didn't realize was a thing! So interesting and absolutely makes sense 😅)
the way ppl from the us (and the northern hemisphere in general but the us feels more dystopian) experience fall is such a fascinating thing to me, we don't even have "seasonal flavors" where i live, the most you'd get is starbucks trying to cater to the young people who are surrounded by this fall culture online and want to experience the same thing but it's not even a big deal, sometimes you'd find pumpkin flavored stuff during halloween time aka spring, the only thing we have is the beginning of the school year and easter which only means overpriced chocolate unless you are a christian; we do have somewhat pronounced seasons but absolutely none is even half as commodified as your fall is, most you'd see is "winter means x province" and such, there truly is nothing that stands out about autumn here unless you personally like it personally autumn is the only season i dislike because of how stagnant it feels, it's suffocating and so boring lol
Funny story about pumpkin spice latte: I live in Israel, where we don't really have a fall, and PSL never was a thing here. There is a surge of immigration from Russia and Ukraine lately, and on one of the forums, a recent immigrant wrote: "I'm suffering without PSL, where can I buy some?". Obviously this became a meme all over the Russian speaking internet and my mom asked me: do you know that there is a pumpkin latte? I needed to explain her that PSL does not contain pumpkin and that it's a huge thing in the US and other places (a thing that I know from videos like this one)
It does very much feel like fall in Berlin.. the only thing climate change has brought about is bright blue skies on some days, which we didn't usually experience in November, but honestly, I'm not complaining.
Lol. Sell, sell, sell!!! That's when I figured out Valentine's Day and literally all holidays and seasons are opportunities to make a buck and keep the economy going! Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc.
Greetings from Denmark. This is so american! Pumpkin spice lattes are not a thing here and most danes don't really do fall decor, only Easter and Christmas. It seems there is so much pressure to buy stuff in the US
We’ve started commodifying Fall/ Autumn in the UK now. So I took my kids to a pumpkin patch last year. It was kind of boring and muddy. I feel like we’re 3 years away from celebrating Thanksgiving!! Im down though I made a sweet potato pie just incase lol
I don't like Starbucks, never go there and always complain about how expensive their drinks are, but I always get my pumpkin spice latte when the season comes cos that shit is good 😩🤌 Fall simply has this very comforting feeling which for some reason makes you feel like splurging on things you usually don't is a form of self-care. At least that's how I see it haha
in my country its not pumpkins but chestnuts. There is a day in November to eat it and celebrate fall. Now it's hot and the chestnuts are getting more and more expensive bcs of the terrible harvesting seasons (it's too hot). In some ways it still feels like summer. I miss having cold falls, and the worst part is that it will be an even colder winter than before. Climate change Sucks.
It’s interesting because we do have our own fall traditions here (collecting chestnuts and leaves, pumpkin foods, apples etc) and while there is certainly some overlap, in recent years I’ve noticed a more American feel. Don’t get me wrong I’m a basic bitch and I love pumpkin spice lattes as much as the next person, but it sometimes feels like it’s coming at the expense of our other traditions, which I love as well. I guess it’s not just commodification, it’s also cultural hegemony lol
Hello!! back with a discussion about all the fall aesthetics and products we’re sold 🎃🍁 PS please comment for the algorithm, it helps a lot and I appreciate the support very much. Wishing you all the coziest day!! 🧡
I love this video so much it's so cozy and the research is great aksdkddldkdldkl💕💐😃😃😃😃
Basic
Where is your sweater from? Its sooo cute
Well then, if you think further, this video will be only relevant in fall and probably underperformed in other seasons, isn't it?
I have never tasted anything pumpkin spice flavored and I'm shocked that there's no pumpkin in it 😂 it's not that big in Europe
The older I get the more I love the transition into fall but mostly because I now have adult money so I guess capitalism got me again.
Honestly, TJ’s has such a grip on me during the fall and winter
I am now an adult and still don't have money :-(
this is true actually
the way i slowly started to gravitate to target once i started getting a paycheck
Or you can just appreciate the color-changing leaves 🍃🍁.
It’s free.

Quite a few European cities and towns have that kind of vibe still. Guess that's where Disney got it from.
I actually grew up in a town like that and I miss it so much, it was the best
The only place I’ve lived in that has the aesthetically pleasing small town fall vibe is my college. Our campus is very small and walkable
Yesss you’re totally right! Disney made me want to live somewhere like that so badly
Come to Ohio we have some of those towns it’s so nice to visit them
Edit: grammar whatever

Only Hayao Myazaki is allowed to make me nostalgic for something I never experienced

@@phoebestener2244 No it is an Irish pagan holiday!!!
Same in eastern europe and we don't even have halloween :(

Japan is super into having four seasons and everything is seasonal: soda, candy, fast food specials, coffee, etc. It's really nice honestly.
Halloween and Christmas are extreme sports in my home. It’s like a straight up festive adrenaline rush from October 1st through January 2nd😂
Australian here. So yeah, we don't have deciduous trees naturally, and when the northern hemisphere is celebrating their "fall", it's spring here and usually starting to get hot already. Here in Vermont we have a whole tourism industry around fall and the leaves! We call it leaf peeper season
i was so excited about this video and i am not disappointed at all!
i have always LOVED your internet analysis videos. they always make me feel connected to and understanding the world better. keep doing you & happy fall! :)
I’m a definitely a Spooky Season kind of gal and my husband as to reel in my Christmas enthusiasm from Nov 1st to Thanksgiving.

Granted, I live in Wisconsin and it was 37* today so we’re firmly into sweater weather!
I'm from the UK and for me autumn is the best time of year. Growing up this season meant shorter days, bonfires/fireworks on Nov 5th, hot chocolate and eating apple crumble with a lot of custard! Fantastic video Tiffany x
Also I recommend Kitchen & Jorns video on trying all Trader Joe's fall food items. It's very entertaining x
As someone born and raised in the tropics, I miss fall now (I am back in my home country^ 😔), I like it when fall comes around and the leaves get increasingly orange, yellow and red as the season goes. It's only second to winter as my favorite season 😌.
(^you could kinda replicate the experience the experience by going somewhere located on a higher altitude, but still...while the temperature might feel similar the environment simply looks different 🥲)
girl this video topic is so fire and unique, props
as someone who is studying and loves sociology, i lovee ur videos
This whole thing is always interesting as someone living in a westernised Southern Hemisphere country (Australia) because like it’s spring here, but all my feeds are autumn, and even our stores cause they’re international sometimes sell these fall themed products. And Halloween is so tied to the autumn aesthetic. And don’t get me started on Christmas, Christmas is by far my favourite holiday and one of my favourite times of year, but my favourite season is summer but Christmas vibes and decor are all winter vibes, it’s all very conflicting and I never know what vibes to channel
(Talking about what vibes to channel is just my own enjoyment of aesthetics I don’t care what people think of the aesthetic I’m channeling)
As a child of Nov. 1, both please, I like both. I love the whiplash of Halloween to thanksgiving/Christmas with my birthday squished somewhere within the span of 48 hours. How exciting!
Fall doesn't really exist here in Tucson. I definitely miss it!
Living in the Mediterranean I relate to none of this… I’m such a sucker for spring though, give me cherry blossom everything!
Fall is my fave bc I wilt and wither in heat. Soup season, hot tea without sweating, sweaters, hats, slippers, boots, blankies.
Tiffany bestie, you mean to say you are giving me permission to enjoy delicious pumpkin pie whenever I want to fight off the capitalist peer pressure?? I’m sold.
the original commentary youtuber!!
I am unreasonably into Halloween
the whole pumpkin spice craze also reminds me of everything but the bagel seasoning. it's so interesting to look into specific groups of people on the internet based on the food that they really like
I live in Sweden were during fall it gets dark at like four and you can’t see anything at six. It’s really weird looking in as an outsider on the commodification of fall.
loved this!
interesting insights, thank you
honestly the whole story/concept/etc of the PSL is fascinating
I really like the drop to a more bearable temperature - I struggle with the heat so a cosy jumper always gets me excited. I quite like Halloween but when I'm busy it passes me by. I dislike anything pumpkin or cinnamon flavoured so I don't feel like i can fully identify as a fall lover.
I totally got that fall vibe & esthetic from watching One Tree Hill
Not everyone is lucky enough to have the right environment for that autumn feeling, so they create memories vicariously through media like Gilmore Girls, and so they re-watch it to recall the memories of the season.
def a fall season type of girlie! i haven’t had a fun Halloween since i was like 15 or so when we did our last neighborhood halloween hayride lmao
November 1st I tried to order a PSL from Dunkin Donuts. They already had their winter holiday menu. I had to settle for some kind of white chocolate latte. A week later I tried for a 'pumpkin spice type' of latte at the indie coffee shop. nope. I wish 'big pumpkin' could compete with the holidays starting on Halloween.
i loved this video!!! also the setup was so cute 💘
*puts away black lipstick, digs out red lipstick*
Yeah, I'm more spoopy and cozy fall than Thanksgiving fall.
She forgot about seasons at the base of the Rockies. Where all 4 four of them can take place in the span of a week or even a day 😂 it’s really jarring to be marketed fall everything and suddenly have 2 feet of snow on the ground in September
As for the spooky season vs cozy autumn I’m def more spooky season BUT I will say that my spooky season vibes are all coated in pumpkin spice
It seems like every year, stores start to sell seasonal products and seasonal ads start to run sooo much earlier these days.
This was so fun to listen to! Also I'm guilty of the Gilmore Gills fall-rewatching (which I didn't realize was a thing! So interesting and absolutely makes sense 😅)
For me, spooky season is September 1 through October 31. After that, it’s CHRISTMAS!! Thanksgiving sucks lol
the way ppl from the us (and the northern hemisphere in general but the us feels more dystopian) experience fall is such a fascinating thing to me, we don't even have "seasonal flavors" where i live, the most you'd get is starbucks trying to cater to the young people who are surrounded by this fall culture online and want to experience the same thing but it's not even a big deal, sometimes you'd find pumpkin flavored stuff during halloween time aka spring, the only thing we have is the beginning of the school year and easter which only means overpriced chocolate unless you are a christian; we do have somewhat pronounced seasons but absolutely none is even half as commodified as your fall is, most you'd see is "winter means x province" and such, there truly is nothing that stands out about autumn here unless you personally like it
personally autumn is the only season i dislike because of how stagnant it feels, it's suffocating and so boring lol
I'm definitely a spooky halloween person, but honestly that's me year-round, not just in the fall lol
It does very much feel like fall in Berlin.. the only thing climate change has brought about is bright blue skies on some days, which we didn't usually experience in November, but honestly, I'm not complaining.
I am neither. I'm a grouch, especially regarding Thanksgiving.
Lol. Sell, sell, sell!!! That's when I figured out Valentine's Day and literally all holidays and seasons are opportunities to make a buck and keep the economy going! Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc.
Loved this vid so much!!!
in high school my school had a lot of halloweekend events (the kids throwing parties not the school ahah)
At least that's how I see it haha
mood lol I definitely relate
Okay miss autumn!!!! Okay miss spooky season!!!!
I guess I'm the rare Halloween Spooky Season AND Cozy Fall Vibes person. Like give me both. Or even better, give me COZY HLLOWEEN mixed together.
working at a big store during christmas last year that sold holiday products made me dislike the holiday
Spooky season
This time of year is expensive for me...think: pumpkin spice industrial complex meets Target's candle aisle, haha.
Wait i thought that fall fashion was over in like 2016 😂
in my country its not pumpkins but chestnuts.
First it’s the pumpkin spice industrial complex, next the peppermint conquests for November/December
love your videos!
My favorite RUclipsr
Great vid as always. 👍👍
Not the pumpkin spice industrial complex 😂
It’s interesting because we do have our own fall traditions here (collecting chestnuts and leaves, pumpkin foods, apples etc) and while there is certainly some overlap, in recent years I’ve noticed a more American feel. Don’t get me wrong I’m a basic bitch and I love pumpkin spice lattes as much as the next person, but it sometimes feels like it’s coming at the expense of our other traditions, which I love as well. I guess it’s not just commodification, it’s also cultural hegemony lol
its spring where i live 🌹💐🌺🌷🌸🌻🌼🏵️💮
