Cheers mate. When I first started I didn’t want to go in half cocked. So I done plenty of research and bought decent kit straight off. Just don’t tell Zoe 😁🤣

@DSR1YT yeah that's it. Fair chunk of coin lol. Like that if it works and it does the job then you stick to what you know.
      So much to find out.
I like Wristys vlog set up as well. Always really crisp picture and decent audio.
See He not long ago hit a million.
Fastlane has shot up I remember when he was at about 10k or less.
      Dudes got a SP2 ,M1000RR, R1M, H2 now lol.
The drone footage and a tune is always been the way I'd like to do it.
But the states have a different bike life if mad out there. Night meets and stretched bike's because they barely have corners lol. It's just way different and the weather plays a big factor with how much they get to vlog and ride.
Winters here you need a project like Chopsy has managed. I've not watched any of it yet saving them up lol.
Doing a good job though mate keep at it if it will pay off in the future. Fastlane has gone full time YT now but you need businesses to get on board He says.
Not sure how true that is as he get's some high views on some video's. Not sure how much revenue he actually makes but it would be good to find out.

Thanks for the video. I'm just starting and don't really know much about editing and syncing up sound to multiple camera views. A video on that would be greatly appreciated and a rig set up gir when riding. Cheers, all the best

Hay mate. Start simple is your best bet. It all comes with experience.
I used iMovie for my first bunch of videos. Once I felt I wanted more from the editing side, that’s when I committed and paid for FCPX.
I’ll add those video ideas to my list of ones to make 😁🤙.

Wicked, where do you mount the purple panda, I tried the cheek and chin but still pick up the wind noise.

The mic, I leave the wind cover on it and wedge it between the helmet shell and the cheek pad.

I had a Purple Panda as everyone recommends it but I absolutely hated it. Terrible sound quality and poor build quality - mine broke after a few rides. There are a whole world of better lav mics out there to choose from

    • @DSR1YT
      @DSR1YT  6 месяцев назад

I’m not saying it’s the best mic ever made. Just saying what I use currently 😁.
What mic did you replace it with then?

@@DSR1YT I tried a few, ended up with a Rode Lavalier II. With the pop filter over it I have it mounted just poking out of my cheekpad and it sounds epic. I am recording onto a 32 bit float recorder which helps with capturing the full dynamic range. Not quite ready to launch my new channel so I can't show you anything yet as an example sorry

@chrisnielsen9885 I like it mate. Well when you do launch your channel send us a link either on here or in a message on instagram and I’ll make sure I check it out. So if I need to upgrade my mic 😁🤙.
      Best of luck mate.
