I loved and still love this game! Why this hasn't been a revamped franchise with new games and movies and such, is beyond me man...
I remember my aunt giving me a cart for the NES. "Kabuki Quantum Fighter" and this was that game. Was back in 2001/2002. still have the game with me.
I remember renting this back in the day , thinking it was going to be bad with the other good games being booked out , it turned out to be super solid and awesome game
the intro to this game scared the shit out of me when i was a kid. Great game.
One of the damn most bizarre games in the entire NES library!! Really solid platformer though, I was shocked!
I remember playing this game on the NES only able to get up to the 3rd round. This game was a pain in the neck for me at the time but I always enjoyed playing it even with the lack of skills I had back then as a kid. Good gameplay btw 😉👍🕹🎮👹👺
Yet another game I'd see in Nintendo Power yet never got the chance to play until I found it at a used game store sometime in the late 90s. I was really intrigued by this game simply because of how weird it looked, but was sold because it appeared to be what I used to call a "Power Blade game". I guess today you'd call this, Power Blade, VICE Project Doom, Shatterhand, and Shadow of the Ninja action platformers, but I think the heavier influence on the action puts them in a league of their own. It's funny; everytime you see one of those "love letter to the past" retro indie games featuring a character with a sword jumping around on platforms all anyone can think to call it is Ninja Gaiden despite Ninja Gaiden being the only game in the history of gaming that ever played like Ninja Gaiden.
The music on Stage 5 on 23:41 is GOLD!
Human Entertainment... the same developers that brought us Monster Party! So this is quite neat here.
The original Zero's hair banging
One of my very first game in my childhood. Difficulty level off the charts (but still a tad easier than Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles).
I remember going to the store with my granny and she wanted to buy me a game, us beeing immigrants and this game costing 60$ when it came out, the game was expensive least to say. Anywho, i saw the cover and pointed at this thing, went home and turned it on. Man oh man was i satisfied when i beat it but it was HARD. This and Ninja Gaiden. I will never forget the moment she bought it for me ❤
This might have the best soundtrack in all of nes
i understand now about the game...when i was a kid..the text was in japanese.....but i love this game so much..the music and gameplay was good..
This somewhat compares to Ninja Gaiden, but now with a program in mind.
I have childhood trauma from this game. But still my favorite NES game.
Level 4 boss, Make him attempt to blast you twice and just keep repeating!
I would loove! to see a high budget live Action Film of this!
I didn't expect if NES can do swing animation...
Where did that hero, with the assembly code in the background came from? Wtf? So many questions.
I remember playing this off an emulator and laughed at the fact you kill people by head banging 😂
This is the original Shantae
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

You ever felt alienated because you played a game no one probably never heard o
ninja gaiden dyed his hair in red
