Forced germanization was bad, but Prussians did not go as far as to murder Polish children or Poles in general just like that.

The strike of Polish childern in Września happened at the beginning of 20th century, several decades after the formation of the German Empire. They were forced to pray in German. So I think "anti-German" is accurate.
