This song is not some general antigermanization song but is about real story when Germans murdered children in a town of Września for prying in Polish. That's why at the end he sings they want to speak with God but using "Ojcze nasz" instead of "Vater unser" (both being "Pater noster" in each language). Rest in peace little angels.
Yep, and the song states that prussians are mistreating the children not that they have been killed. According to a quick read of wikipedia, children refused and protested against having religious classes in the German language and wanted to keep speaking polish, in a move where Prussia had the intention of erasing polish culture. The parents of some children had been sent to prison however, one of them for 2 years.
I'm Polish, and the children of Września weren't murdered. They're known for their protest of enforced prayers in German, not for being killed. It seems You didn't learn Your history well. Forced germanization was bad, but Prussians did not go as far as to murder Polish children or Poles in general just like that.

I think if you look at every country there are atrocities committed in some point in history. BTY is it a Gnome thing to stay fixated on a war that happened almost a century ago?
The strike of Polish childern in Września happened at the beginning of 20th century, several decades after the formation of the German Empire. They were forced to pray in German. So I think "anti-German" is accurate.
@@blackseat2265 My comment wasn't meant as serious. And the statement, that Germans never change, is very subjective, and for me personally false. As for me, and many others, we love Poland, its people, and their history. Nevertheless, I love my country and its history as well, but promptly apologize, for any unintended harm and or offense that I may have caused by my own statement, but you should also recognize, that by saying Germans never change, you may harm or offend others too, and so, aren't really any better, of course, that is also subjective, and will respect most other opinions.

Always remeber, never forget
“Anti-Prussian” would be more accurate than “Anti German”
It was the Germans (Teutons) who "Christianized"/eliminated the Baltic Prussian tribe.
prussians were germans and they united germany so its not much of a difference in my opinion
@@sew_243The Prussians were Balts, just like the Lithuanians, Latvians and Estonians.

As a german, I promptly disagree.
