As a Bangladeshi living in the U.S. having moved from Turkey I can tell you, there are thousands of us who left Bangladesh because life had become too dangerous for us. My grandfather was among the so called war criminals that Sheikh Hasina regime locked in prison and sentenced to death wrongfully. Escaping persecution for years takes a toll on you but finally we feel like there is some justice in the world. We overthrew Hasina, but we still have big challenges in front of us. I can only pray and hope for Palestine. Because no victory is complete our Palestinian brothers are suffering.

We were in jahannam. Our lives were at stake. Even those who did nothing only had their profile picture red in Facebook were targeted by the government. We were praying and praying for not to see any more death and for peace and victory. At the same time we were witnessing atrocities on Palestinians. That's why though I was praying for immediate victory but also was worried about the time it would take to win. But alhamdulillah Allah has given us victory in a very short time. This taught me that Allah can give victory any time He wants. We just have to be patient. May Allah make us hold victory in the coming days and grant Palestinians peace and victory.
