I was in Bangor at my Gran’s house and considering I had NO experience of earthquakes at that age (teenager) I just kept shouting, “it’s an earthquake!” Lol. my mum ran to the front door and the man opposite was stood in his doorway in his underpants. 😄

It's actually a good thing that we have little earthquakes, it releases tectonic stress!
Most earthquakes happen at the boundaries between the Earth's tectonic plates, where there is the largest amount of stress. The UK is located in the middle of the Eurasian tectonic plate, so is not subject to significant earthquake activity.

My settee shook below me in Pontypridd. A jet plane looped over the valleys at 4,500 feet (flightrader nerd) a few hours before. I'm not going into conspiracy theories, it probably was just waiting for a clear runway but this area is full of unsettled ground due to the mines. A jet being so low could have unsettled the earth maybe.
