I picture a loving werewolf or vampire or some other spooky creature dad holding a music box as he goes to his baby son/daughter’s bedroom and hears his/her loudly crying in their crib. He then winds up the music box, puts it down, and goes to their crib, picks them up, and starts rocking them back and forth, humming the melody before his kid goes to sleep. He then places them gently back in their crib, tucks in the covers around them, and says “Night night. Daddy loves you and will take care of you…forever and ever.”, and then gives them a kiss on the forehead before heading out the door and closing it quietly to do whatever it is that they are doing.
