I always thought I was the only one who knew this. If anyone ever had more fun playing bass than Leo Lyons I've never seen em.

A Rock legend, sadly underrated but not forgotten. A sad indictment is that many of the younger rock fans don't even know who he was.

Been listening to Ten Years After since before Woodstock! That performance of I'm Going Home was burned into my soul where it remains to this very day! Alvin may no longer be with us physically but he will live forever in my heart!

Next time you throw a whiskey bottle at Alvin make sure there's some in there! Most the others just played 'the game'. Alvin Lee is who they went to see when they wanted to rock.

To me the musicians back then we're better than today .the way they played was effortlessly than the way musicians play today .it's completely different style .

Among all past guitar players. There is always the conversation of who was missed on list. I was 16 years old when introduced to the playing of Alvin Lee.
The man was truly incredible. If you have a chance. Look up all his music from start to finish. He was absolutely amazing
Truly one of the best from a time that had the greatest guitarists ever born.
I was blessed to be able to hear all.

I dig it!!! It's easy to dance to...I give 'bout 98! Hahaha! Hey....Hey...(learned that from Duck Dynasty) I like this tune!!!!! Used to play it a lot at those parties where your mama told you not to go. Hey, Hey, this music puts me in a mood for one of those tiny little postage stamps...never could get them to stick, but I sure liked licking them....!!!!!!

Greatest r'n'r song dedicated to mothers-in-law (do you have the sence of humour?) or the critical days of a girlfriend or wife, the second is the same at the Stones - 20,000 light-years from home.
    P.S. Alvin was the great.
