Greatest bass player..........EVER!
I always thought I was the only one who knew this. If anyone ever had more fun playing bass than Leo Lyons I've never seen em.
Yes fantastic bass goes on forever 🙌
A Rock legend, sadly underrated but not forgotten. A sad indictment is that many of the younger rock fans don't even know who he was.
67, still loving this and ten years after👊🎶🎶🎸
Been listening to Ten Years After since before Woodstock! That performance of I'm Going Home was burned into my soul where it remains to this very day! Alvin may no longer be with us physically but he will live forever in my heart!
Same here.
Next time you throw a whiskey bottle at Alvin make sure there's some in there! Most the others just played 'the game'. Alvin Lee is who they went to see when they wanted to rock.
To me the musicians back then we're better than today .the way they played was effortlessly than the way musicians play today .it's completely different style .
Loved him dearly. Miss him all the time. Saw him with 10 Yrs After in concert twice. I will never forget.
I was 14 in 1970. this song change my life forever ! Thank you Ten years After !
I WAS BORN IN 56. I Agree. They changed my life too.
Change my life yesterday and today and tomorrow
53 years after and I still love this tune
Noooooobody played the 335 like this dude, what monster, he just keeps coming at you like a train…. Unstoppable soul!!!!
I was 17 when Cricklewood Green was released. I have recently rediscovered the magic of these two guitarists playing together. They were the best!

This is so awesome also in 2021.
Yes!!!
Alvin thank you for leaving your mark on humanity. This is probably the most powerful progressive run up songs you will ever hear!!!! Play my brother, I am screaming at the stars!!!
Among all past guitar players. There is always the conversation of who was missed on list. I was 16 years old when introduced to the playing of Alvin Lee.
The man was truly incredible. If you have a chance. Look up all his music from start to finish. He was absolutely amazing
Truly one of the best from a time that had the greatest guitarists ever born.
I was blessed to be able to hear all.
ALVIN WAS A GIFT FROM GOD. R.I.P. ALVIN. 5 TIMES I SAW IN HUNGARY. CHEERS.
Absolutely, positively the best. What a tragic loss to the music world!
As ever Leon Lyons. Fucking legend
Alvin Lee and the band rang my bell...Every time I heard them ....Leo on bass driv'n this train.
Alvin Lee great guitarist, song writer , great singer and all around good guy. I like his solo albums and side projects. I have a big fan since SSSSSHHH came out.
This song would pull me up to Jupiter when I was strung out on Mars.
✨⚡️🎸✨
I saw ten hears after in pittsburgh in high school. Hard core rolling rhythm out of alvin, leo and chick
Bass guitarist: Am about 800k miles beneath your brains, but y'all go ahead I will catch up.

missed badly
Com on man man
I dig it!!! It's easy to dance to...I give 'bout 98! Hahaha! Hey....Hey...(learned that from Duck Dynasty) I like this tune!!!!! Used to play it a lot at those parties where your mama told you not to go. Hey, Hey, this music puts me in a mood for one of those tiny little postage stamps...never could get them to stick, but I sure liked licking them....!!!!!!
Greatest r'n'r song dedicated to mothers-in-law (do you have the sence of humour?) or the critical days of a girlfriend or wife, the second is the same at the Stones - 20,000 light-years from home.
P.S. Alvin was the great.
OH YEA..DID ANYONE EVER SMOKE A BASS GITTER BETTER BETTER THAN LEO LYONS??? I THINK NOT!!!!!
How bout Geezer Butler... Leo and Geezer are the reason i first picked up a Bass
@@stevegibbs874 vi tocar en cadiz españa en 2005 a leo lions fenomenal junto a un guitarra jimi gooche
... and, yes, there is Mr. Thunderfingers. Yet, I agree with Jerry that Leo Lyons gets to you in a very special way above them all.
Does anyone know the story behind this cosmic love song?

Similar to sympathy for the devil...the rolling stones.
Not even close to the Stones
Sounds like sympathy for the devil
Phenomenal. ❤
