Like the spinning mopping action and the water distribution system. It worked for nearly 3 hrs, thru the night. Charging took nearly 2 hrs. Used a vacuum robot to pick up all the particulars first before releasing the mopping robot.
I really would like a robot mop but, as it stands, I'd spend about as much time filling, putting on the pads, picking up and then cleaning up the machine and pads... as I do using my O-Cedar spray mist mop. I REALLLLLLY wanted the Roborock S7+ to be better, just for this reason. That would be the perfect robot. Vacuum the carpet and tile, drop the mop on the tile, lift it up at the carpet and do the WHOLE house, emptying the dust bin and recharging as needed. Then when it's done, pull off the pad and throw it in the washer. SIDE NOTE! You can buy the Swiffer WetJet bottles of fluid and they work great in everything. A friend even uses it in her Deebot Pro scrubby tank and she says it's great.
I just got the Roborock s7 with the dock. It really cleans well but not so great on tall carpets. It truly does cleans your house efficiently. For the mopping future, its not that good, but for sweeping its amazing.
It has high performance for cleaning. But it might takes a year for one house. I think the company have to upgrade mapping tech in today's high-tech era.
I've watched your testing of the mopping robots and there are some thoughts that may improve the results. 1. Pre-soak the stain with 409 or other cleaner prior to sending your robot into the room. 2. Spray the mess you applied to the floor such as, ketchup, mustard, pudding, yogurt, milk, ice cream, etc. with vinegar and water, distilled water, or any safe to use cleaner on wood or bamboo flooring which will not harm pets or children before sending the robot into the room. 3. Lastly, people who take their shoes off at the door, or immediately wipe wine or any other stain producing food off of floors and send the robot into the room on a regular basis should not need to have the robot attempt to remove dried on sticky gooey messes. Note: I have two robots one upstairs and downstairs and they clean every other day. I have ceramic tile with 1/4 inch grout lines on the floor and I have yet to see a robot that can clean the tile and the grout effectively at this time. I personally use a steamer and it has never met/incounted anything on the floor that it cannot remove with only distilled water. I have found your channel to present some of the best tests of what a robot can and cannot do which I appreciate.
I have an M6 and a Jet bot. When I first got the jet bot, it cleaned well now it seems to leave dirty scuff marks in the edges . Really liking my M6 now. With the updated software, it does the edges very well. Tried the mops on my Z10 and Nova, not worth it
The concept of no wheels is great (it let to use it´s own preasure to do a god job), but I think it needs to be smarter. How does it deal with corner edge?.
When I use the samsung to mop I find the 50 minute mode works best because it does a mix of all the modes as it cleans and spreads out more over your home. I'm waiting for a smart mopping robot with spinning mopping pads that holds water in the tank before i consider buying another mopping robot. Hopefully its coming out soon. Whats good about the everybot is its able to clean on glass tables. If you put the samsung or M6 on a glass table to clean it gets very confused and sometimes will drive off the table.
Im looking to buy one of these mopping vacuums for my 81 year old mom. She has an open hardwood floor plan And she currently has the i3 roomba vacuum. Ive seen a lot of your videos on these moppers, and wanted to get your opinion on which one you think would be best to get her for under $500.00 ?
Ecovacs Deebot X1 Omni is on my radar for the first self empty & cleaning hybrid. My Narwal does a better job than the S9 on hard floors with the vacuum being able to reach further, run longer, quieter, better navigation (LIDAR), less maintenance without brushes, and longer lasting filter by having the ‘mesh’ pre-filter. I predict the X1 will have the mopping ability and tech of the Narwal, with the power of brushes on carpet and be completely hands-free.
Thank you for the video. I’m starting to think that this robot isn’t smart and can’t do a zig-zag pattern as shown in the picture, and that the purpose of that picture is to show a strong battery life instead (which would be quite misleading). Since this robot doesn’t have an app I don’t think it can be “updated” to work in zig-zags. Do you prefer this 3-wheeled robot or your 2-wheeled samsung better? My home has wood, tiles, and carpet and I can’t decide. They’re pretty similar since none are smart nor have auto-dock. But at least they don’t cost $800+.
@@AdamsReviews the 3-pads has carpet detection so at least it scores 1 point there, I think i’ll go for that one. If I have to rescue and find it might as well have it not wet the carpet. Thanks for your help Adam :)
Do you have any recommendations for a dedicated robot mop that is also smart? I really like the w450 but I wish it had more smart features. Did you say some dedicated mops are coming out soon?
@@AdamsReviews I think that is too expensive for me. Do you know of anything in the $500 or less category? I don’t care about self cleaning my pads I just want some thing that can do a good job mopping and map out my house so that I can tell it to not go in certain rooms
Like the fact it has three pads and it’s very quiet. Mop bots are getting better. IMO, not quite there yet. I’d like to see auto refill. That would be cool.
That reminds me of the Samsung vs the iRobot and the Samsung won because it did the same area over and over and the iRobot did it 1 time that’s what I think.

I have a brava jet 240 and I am getting a bissell spinwave

The ilife w450 might be the easiest ones to use.
Love it !!
Need some advice on the suitable usage of chemical for mopping and whether it can help to polish marble floor?
Would you recommend this over the Bissell Spinwave?
What is the lowest price have you seen on this robot?

I think the 3 pads would clean better overall but it does not seem at all smarter than like the samsung jetbot and I think that is like $200

Put this and the S7 through the whiteboard stain mess challenge.

Not impressed with this bot.
Not impressed with this. If you have to stand there with me remote to use it, you might as well mop manually.
You don't have to use the remote. I was just showing you all the functions. You can just set it to auto and it will go around until the battery dies.
You can just set it to 50 minutes which is how long the water tank lasts and half the battery life.
That Thing isn't that good
