13:04 "Now we sit there and start up into the vertical, now he's going to make damn sure that he's going to come up here with you If he just sits there and rolls his wings down and starts running on you or anything like that, straight lateral little turn, go on down and chase him, you'll have the energy to go after him and be ready to go. If he picks his nose up, start smiling you've got a good day ahead of you."
The narrator is the great Vic Perrin. He was also the voice of "The Outer Limits" TV series and several of the rides at Disney World. If you ever watched the old Dragnet series in the '60s he was the serial killer in the TV movie that was broadcast in 1968.
Grumman built one hell of an airplane.
1:46 An amazing shot of a pair of F-14A Tomcats with wings at mid sweep and "glove vanes" deployed.
Watching this makes everything in Top Gun make so much more sense when they fly against the A-4 Skyhawk during training.
5:10 "...the T-38 being one of the tightest turning aircraft in the inventory." That's a hoot!
Awesome... our RNZAF operated Skyhawks 👍✈️🇳🇿
Keep uploading these. Please!
Will do.
With the early P&W TF-30's, the pilot did not fly the Airplane, He flew the Engine.
Wow, look at that giant slab by the fuel dump
I love tomcat!❤

7:03 Who is this Huckleberry pilot?
Seems like they use the vertical alot. Why doesn't the aggressor keep their energy and force a turn fight.
Dogfight + reaction jets = instant death or get rekt by spaa
Cause they do try to make it s turn fight just not in the vertical. Tho if the smaller plane had the right engine it wouldn't matter.
You've been watching your Growling Sidewinder
“Variable wings for tight turns at a wide range of speeds”. More like “so it can turn period under 300 ias”
Hermoso!!!!!
فیلم بسیار قشنگی بود
