    Just what I need it! The power of our thoughts is understimated now I comprehend how my soul was damaged with my own sin. Thanks to our father who gives his precious word and we can have deliverance through Christ!

    Drawing from Hebrews where the word is translated as "intentions" Hebrews 4:12, I see the thinking like this: This way of thinking directly impacts our intentions. So, as Christ had the very intention to go to the cross, suffer and die, in like manner, that should be our intention. Not something we try to escape from.

    This verse stood out to me in the context of arming ourselves, with Christ's way of thinking.
    "1 Peter 3:8 - 8 Finally, all of you, HAVE UNITY OF MIND, SYMPATHY, BROTHERLY LOVE, A TENDER HEART, and a HUMBLE MIND.
    Perhaps as you "arm yourselves with the same way of thinking" we also have the "UNITY OF MIND" mentioned in 1 Peter 3:8 -8.

    The best words for arming oneself are from the Messiah Himself!
    Firstly, how do we know if we believe?
    In order to find out if we believe in Jesus, we must believe His word is truth.
    HIS word is first, not the apostles, not Paul and not your pastor or priest, HIS!
    We need to read the words of our Messiah and use THEM as the standard.
    In that remember Jesus also said: Do """"ALL""""" that Moses said. Matthew 23:1-3
    In John 5:47 Jesus says "But if you dont believe in Moses writings, how will you believe in His!
    In Luke 16:31 "" If they dont listen to Moses & the prophets, they won't listen if someone rises from the dead""
    Gee I wonder do you who rose from the dead that He was talking about?
    It comes down to this; if you dont accept Moses writings, or the prophets, you won't accept what Jesus says.
    Jesus ""never contradicted the Father therefore He never contradicted what Moses wrote.
    Jesus didn't start a new religion. If He did, the pharisees would've crucified Him for that!
    Remember they found no fault in Him!!!
    That means when they studied the writings of Moses there wasn't any contradiction with what He said and what Moses write down.
    He didn't teach a new religion.
    He came to show us "The Way" to walk out the old one.
    Don't let Jesus say to you "" Depart from me you who practice lawlessness""
    Instead believe His words

    At 6:46 what does it mean to want your suffering to be a “healing suffering”? I know Christ’s suffering healed us but I'm just curious as to how our suffering can be healing. I believe what you're saying is right but I'm just kinda confused on this.

    Christ had a human flesh like us as given in Romans 8:3. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh.
    Romans 8:6. For if ye LIVE after the FLESH, ye shall DIE: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
    living according to the flesh leads to death. Jesus did not live according to the flesh. So we need to arm ourselves with the same mind as Jesus. That’s how we can walk according to his footsteps.
    If Jesus was some kind of supernatural being and did not have a flesh like ours we can’t follow him. But the spirit of the antichrist denies that Jesus has come in the flesh.
    1 John 4:3. And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh, is not of God; and such is the spirit of Antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come, and even now already it is in the world.
    1 Peter 2:22-23 Who committed no sin,
    Nor was deceit found in His mouth”;
    who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously;
    What a glorious God Jesus is who committed no sin nor was guile found in his mouth but committed himself to the One who judges righteously. What an example for us to follow.
    Amen
