He has risen on the third day. One day is as 1 thousand years.
Year 0-1000 = day one
Year 1000-2000 = day two
Year 2000- present day = day three.

Last days and end times are speaking of the end of the old covenant (law) and starting of the new covenant (grace). The end of all things in I Peter is the end of the old covenant.

The old covenant is still in full force today unless I missed something and heaven and earth have passed away Matthew 24:35.

@@BloodCovenant Heaven and Earth passed just as Jesus said it would. Jesus was talking to the Jews. The Jews understood that the earth was their land and that Heaven was their temple. Rome destroyed both in 70AD just a Jesus had said. So much more to talk about but not enough time. We must understand who Jesus was talking to and why. Audience relevance is key in this. Jesus was not talking to us!
