Am ever disturbed whenever I see people divorcing, the mere mention of this topic disturbs me Before I think of divorce as the husband/wife, why can't I think of what is leading to divorce? If it's infidelity, unfaithfulness, fornication, drunkenness, violence, (emotional, physical) why can't I be humble enough to admit & solve this? It's better I die solving these evils than die of divorce pain. If am irresponsible, why can't I rectify it, because if I divorce for all the above mentioned, I will automatically transfer these vices evils to my next marriage. In the village where I come from there goes a proverb which says: A long tailed animal does not cross fire. Let me say this, the evils you fail to solve bite back very painfully. This is sure, not theory. I thought marriage bed should be honored.
Marriage takes work, and sometimes that means open communication and effort from both partners. That said, divorce isn't always a failure. In some cases, it can be the healthiest option for everyone involved, especially in situations with abuse or addiction. A strong marriage is built on respect, communication, and a willingness to work through problems together.
Because it takes two, you can not work on infidelity or abuse if you are the one receiving them and the one dishing them out is blaming you and playing the victim who isn't willing to talk let alone work on it
I see your point of view but sometimes you'll actually die. It's not worth it. At the end of the day if it's not working it's better to go your separate ways than cause damage to yourselves, both sides of families, children and ruin your whole life. It's not worth it. Sometimes space works. Go your separate ways if you can calm down and work it out then fine, if you can't then feel the pain and move on.
Also, if the issues are reconcilable, then it wouldn't have come to divorce. Divorce comes about when one or both parties don't want to work on the relationship. Divorce is just the last option.
If a spouse is nurturing the children, then the properties should be fairly apportioned. Secondly, Divorce scenario should be part of preparation for marriage/marriage counseling. #ToughConversation during dating/courtship days...

Divorce costs are divided fairly in the US, considering each spouse's financial situation. It's not always just about who pays whom. Thanks for pointing that out!
Courts are primarily concerned with the well-being of minor children. For minor children, the court will decide custody and visitation arrangements based on the "best interests of the child" standard. For disabled children, even if they are adults (depending on the severity of the disability), the court might consider similar factors to ensure their continued care. Adult children, however, generally are not part of the custody or visitation decisions. The court might be involved in financial matters related to adult children with disabilities, but this would depend on the specific applicable laws. It's always best to consult with a family lawyer in your jurisdiction for specific legal advice.
1st of all before I marry, why can't I understand marriage is eternal, compared to relationship between Christ & church: Ephesians 5:23-32 Before I think of divorce, why can't I admit, own up, accept corrections we reconcile if failure to that will lead to divorce. Why can't we drop our ego, pride& diplomatically maturely solve these conflict that lead to divorce. (Men may suffer from this more, fellow men, kindly let's check this, am a man& I know what I mean) Will the children face this inequality because of our inability to solve? Consequences of divorce are painful. Do all what you can to prevent divorce. Prevention is better than cure
Thanks for your thoughtful comment. Marriage is definitely a big commitment, and looking to the Bible for guidance is a great approach. Ephesians 5:23-32. The Bible emphasizes patience, forgiveness, and working through conflict. Marriage takes work, and there will be challenges. Ego and pride can be huge roadblocks in any relationship. Open communication and a willingness to see things from your partner's perspective are key. Children are deeply affected by divorce. It's so important to try everything possible to create a stable and loving home for them. There are so many resources available for couples to learn communication skills and strengthen their relationship.
There's absolutely no age limit to pursue a law degree - you can definitely go for it at 40! Just like doctors, lawyers can specialize in different areas too. #LawSchool #NeverTooLate #Education #Law
Whether a couple can divorce and still run a business together depends on several factors. It's certainly possible, but it often requires clear communication, a strong business structure, and sometimes, professional mediation.
Haha, not exactly! Lawyers specialize in family law can represent clients going through divorce, but their main goal is to ensure a fair and smooth process, whether it's divorce or reconciliation.
You make a great point. An equal partnership is key! Maybe there's a way the man in this situation can find a chore he enjoys, or they can split things differently. Open communication is everything!
If we husband and wife are bringing in money equally then by all means they should do the dishes equally.. There is a big distinction between what the individual earns and what they bring into the family...... because we all know his money is their money and her money is her money.

That’s right. For everyday legal needs, a general Advocate is great. But for complex situations, a specialist with deep knowledge is your best bet! #LawyerLife #LegalAdvice #DialoguesWithJagero

Jagero it’s not true that in America the men pay for the cost of divorce, there are financial considerations.
Divorce costs are divided fairly in the US, considering each spouse's financial situation. It's not always just about who pays whom. Thanks for pointing that out!
Are courts considering only minor children, disabled children or even adult ones.
Nice to know the Host is a Luo
Thanks Okot
1st of all before I marry, why can't I understand marriage is eternal, compared to relationship between Christ & church: Ephesians 5:23-32
Before I think of divorce, why can't I admit, own up, accept corrections we reconcile if failure to that will lead to divorce.
Why can't we drop our ego, pride& diplomatically maturely solve these conflict that lead to divorce. (Men may suffer from this more, fellow men, kindly let's check this, am a man& I know what I mean)
Will the children face this inequality because of our inability to solve?
Ask her can one do law at 40yrs please
There's absolutely no age limit to pursue a law degree - you can definitely go for it at 40! Just like doctors, lawyers can specialize in different areas too.

Can couples divorce but still run their businesses together?
Whether a couple can divorce and still run a business together depends on several factors. It's certainly possible, but it often requires clear communication, a strong business structure, and sometimes, professional mediation.
So this lawyer couches people to divorce?
To reconcile
Haha, not exactly! Lawyers specialize in family law can represent clients going through divorce, but their main goal is to ensure a fair and smooth process, whether it's divorce or reconciliation.
Lawyers handle what is brought to their table; they do not go looking for cases.
😂 come we stay any time 😂
😂😂😂😂
Haha! Next video, we're [doing something related to cme we stay and the marriage landscape.
Beautiful and with brain
Thank you
A woman should get tired of taking of a man. This man will not cook, or wash clothes, or clean the house.
And if he cooks, washes clothes and cleans the house, but has less money than you? Can you stay?
@newtonsimba7930 Yes , I can stay if he is loving & caring & not a cheating.

I am over 30, but I hate marriage like hell!! Sitaki blood pressure
That’s heavy. But I hear you.
so if it's an angry woman who want's to get back to her man you help but if it's a man that's where you draw the line.jagero get us someone neutral💁♂
This video was more about the strategies themselves, which can be applied by anyone regardless of gender. If you have a specific situation in mind, feel free to leave a comment and I'll try my best to create an episode with that in mind.
As a young man in this Westernizing society, I choose to avoid marriage altogether
or rather revise the vows, in health and wealth, till unhappiness and finances do us apart.
Some marriages will kill you if you don't get out
You're right, some relationships can be very damaging.
Do u think the man paid himself first ? He does all the hard work out and paid to himself nothing but provide to his family
He could have been prioritizing his family's needs while still saving for the future?
Oduor women then were oppressed had nowhere to go were shunned by society and church and family. TODAY its easier not for all women but at least for many who work and can feed themselves and take them to school, n probably buy land. Also the society is less judgemental
Divorce was never accepted but is getting easier. Women like wangari maathai, waiguru, marha, ev Teresia have shown women you can walk and be successful and thrive
There's definitely been progress for women in terms of opportunities and societal acceptance. It's amazing to see more women being financially independent and having a voice. However, there's still a way to go when it comes to equal pay, representation in certain fields, and dismantling some remaining stereotypes. What are your thoughts on how we can continue to push for gender equality?
@@Kakwasiyou seem very westernised...go ahead and leave your man....but dont expect the very men you bash to be your protectors...a few shillings isnt everything
@@TheJageroit's still hard in many communities to be divorced. Even your family members shun you. Yet you are not even asking them for anything. It's s long long way. Marriages should be for keeps but sometimes inakataa
That would be a call to celebrate if you are married to a naccisist " I am free at last, I am liberated"
Haha, well, maybe not a party just yet! But definitely a cause for a day of self-care and celebrating your freedom.
Mr Oduor let me educate you on Luo language. The word juok means god, the plural juogi means gods. So your godly name is nyingi mar juok. jajuok is one who is a witch.kindly have God in the original Luo cultural practices before Christianity. The Knowledge of God exist in the Luo mind or African mind before talking of the God of Israel.
Thanks for reaching out and for sharing your knowledge about the Luo language! I appreciate you clarifying.
Why men leave, what women say… shouldn’t it be what men say?
Let me listen …but it sounds like something the men should be explaining.
I’d like to hear, why women leave (& what they say about that).
Great point! While this video focuses on women's experiences, it's definitely a two-way street. Men's perspectives are equally valuable. I'd love to create content exploring both sides of the story in the future.
Don't get married !
Marriage is beautiful. Dont get married now, you not ready.
Yes I agree with you
Get married but don't entertain a wrong spouse
Don’t get married in America
Marriage is a beautiful thing, Divorce is horror!!!
Logically speaking, a failed paternity test is watertight proof of infidelity. Is it enough legally?
A failed paternity test strongly suggests infidelity, but legally, it might not be the whole picture.
