Stenciling. On pounds of flesh. I first wipe it down with alcohol. Then I apply my stencil transfer gel. I use Hulk. I then hold it for a few minutes. After, I take my heat gun and dry it. Most of the time I let it sit 24 hours. Longer and you won’t be able to get it off. Not sure about the thinner skin. I’ll try it this weekend and see

Awesome video, to make your stencil hold on fake skin, use deodorant but you have to make sure it is a clear gel deodorant, like speed stick or old spice, apply a generous amount and wipe off access before applying the stencil, allow stencil to dry for at least four hours that way you don't loose the design while tattooing, but other than that great job

  • @msreeferchiefer5042

I use stencil stuff as well but on practice skin I use deodorant because it is cheaper... it has to be a gel solid deodorant I use old spice brand its a red container but the deodorant is an ice blue color semi transparent but solid

  • @6thCircleTattoos

The best way to stencil a fake skin is Green Card stick, use a thick layer and then smooth it out until it's just tacky enough. Lay the stencil. Use your palm and a paper towel and firmly press down to absorb any extra stencil gel. Use a heat gun for about 30-45 seconds per area of the stencil using back and forth motions about 3 inches from the skin. The stencil will not come off. It'll stick like glue. The only way I've found to get it off is toilet bowl cleaner with bleach in it. Let it sit over the stencil for like 24 hrs. Works every time

Hey great video but i have a question : Does it make a big difference whether you use a 7 RL or 7 RS for the dark parts ? All I could imagine would be that the liner pushes the ink faster and therefore is less time-consuming, but I would like to be enlightened.

The best way to put a stencil on fake or real skin is to put your solution on the skin, lightly dab with paper towel to remove excess stencil stuff from skin. You just want skin to be tacky, then place stencil on skin. After stencil is placed put a couple drops of stencil stuff on the back of the stencil and smear the back of stencil with your finger(I've only noticed stencil smearing if too much stencil stuff is on the skin not the back of the stencil). Doing so will ensure your stencil is put on the skin effectively.
