    I'm going to Osaka next month to work as an English teacher and am a little nervous about speaking Japanese with people. I just want to say thanks for being a great source of encouragement with using Japanese. You make me feel more confident with just doing it and not fearing messing up

    Misa, I'm grateful for all of your lessons that you've made for now. They are very very helpful for all of those who learning japanese. And how about making lessons where you would explain japanese language by popular japanese songs? I've seen some videos with that theme that you made years ago and they were super helpful. It's sad that you stopped doing this kind of lessons and I hope you can try to make them nowadays. Anyway huge thanks for everything and greetings from Kazakhstan!!!

    I've been practicing Japanese for a year now, and I'm so happy that I knew all the vocabulary in this video. I find learning japanese vocabulary and then the conjunction on top of that is so difficult 😅

    "いる, to exist, is written in hiragana" except when it's not" 居る, kinda like 何処 (どこ) and 何故 (なぜ)

    先頃、紙屋で紙を買った。クリスマスカレンダーを作るのためだ。There's probably a more natural way to say the second sentence. If anyone has a suggestion please share! 🐈

      i think it's more natural as just one sentence:「先頃、紙屋でクリスマスカレンダーを作るのための紙を買った」
      if you want to say it as two sentences, the second sentence would be more natural as 「クリスマスカレンダーを作るのためなんだ」since you're explaining why, it makes sense to add なんだ to the end :) hope this helped

    Shopping is the most nerve wracking time for me in Japanese. Mostly I work from home, but when I have to go to the shops... phew! So many questions, and spoken so quickly because sales staff are always in a rush! It's terrible :(

    Is さだめ literary vocabulary for fate?
    Also, can we just praise how brilliant the "drop everything and become silent" joke was? It's easy to miss because she told it like it wasn't a particularly funny joke but if you consider it for just a second, the composition is brilliant.
