Here's a trick, I poke holes in can around the rim gutter with a nail and hammer so the paint will fall back into the can, also a coat of vasoline around the rim helps with sticking. I brought two paint can openers from Porter's Paints in Naples and guard them for 20 years now in a safe place. Tool lover from way back! Your studio is top on my list of places to see.
