Storage crates can be upgraded now. That's why they made the first one easy.
you can in fact upgrade crates now... also, mixing and matching sets will work better probably rather than having a full set of one kind... the fullarmor effects can be gained by seperate pieces from all the sets, having a good armor rating aswell as extra damage, speed.... guns,nerds and steel has a vid on it ;D

At least in A21 dew collectors can be "inside". The caveat is that the center of the dew collector needs to be exposed to the sky, either directly or through certain blocks like bars (not exactly sure on all the criteria, but I know bars worked in A21).
Of course that may have changed with 1.0, but I dont recall anything about that in the patch notes.
Yeah like the comments say you can use your axe to upgrade it like a building block and the stuff inside doesn’t disappear
Kage, not sure if you know but the ovens are lootable and some times have cooking pots, mostly just rooting flesh or coal.
The set gear stuff gives me MMO vibes. It's kind of a fun change, I like it.
0:58 obviously they made the water filter a mod instead of a required, I know one the other other mods increase productivity, and I think the 3rd increase productivity when it's raining.
In some instances a dew collector with no filter can be good as some recipes require mercy water

Kage, don't forget the blinds on the office windows! For polymer.
@kage848 you don't have to pick up the chests, you can upgrade them with iron in your inventory, and no you don't have to empty them. You can do it with everything still in them and it stays in them after the upgrade. The first upgrade is with iron, and then you can upgrade the iron ones with steel. By the way, the reason why it is red is because its a negative, and the game is coded so that anything that is a negative is red, and anything that's a positive is green. Even if the negative is a good thing, if the notice the stamina drain is a negative as well on things and is red.

Also those armor parts are not steel armor parts, those are used to craft "Armor Crafting Kits" and if i remember require 1 armor part and either 1 duck tape or 1 sowing kit
Here is how the number in the brackets thing works.
It is red, because your 'current' armor doesn't have that bonus.
If you have armor on your body, and you click another piece of armor, it will compare and show in brackets the value of the equipped to the clicked. If you have that other armor still clicked, and then just hover above another, the brackets will show you if the clicked is worse or better, so if you hover above an item and then the brackets show a red number, you found an item that is better than your clicked.
It's confusing because it works with comparing equipped and clicked armor (bracket number shows the equipped), and then with clicked and 'hovered above' (bracket number shows the clicked) items, so it switches the objects of comparison.
If you unequip your armor, or when comparing tools, ammo etc. it gets easier to understand:
Click a thing in your inventory, hover above another thing, the bracket number shows if the clicked thing is worse (red number) or better (green numba).
I hope this makes sense.

I might be wrong but wasnt your *outfit* having the food/water reduce consumption; then you just got a helmet with a food/water reduce; could that be why its in red? Do they stack to make 20% food/water reduce or is it only 1 I wonder???
Don't forget about the blinds in the windows, also a source of polymer/plastic

i kinda wish the bike had something like a granny basket and attachable box as storage mods. if you want more resources from an item that has storage look inside it then break it dowm as a lot have a full and empty state and you get resources from both states.
Funpimps removed the ability to drink the lakes full of water in the game, so removing clothes isn't that big of a stretch.

I want to see armour stands so me and my friends can have TT or Green Arrow styled room with our gear displayed.
You should be able to make red tea already, it reduces hunger degradation.

Kage you should not sell armor but scrap it for armor parts as you need a lot to craft your own.

I like the change to just four pieces. I wasn't enjoying the fashion show. But I'm not as invested in the game as other people so I understand if they're disappointed.
They completely redid the models and rigging. Clothes can come back later.

I understand why you do the quest reset but every time i see it…. Feels like cheating because your not playing the game as a survival game more like a quest game only. Play as you like but in my opinion that is not survival gameplay. If you have no good quests then farm build explore…make time worth before day 7 but cheating to pick favorite quests is not survival. Nighttime is part of the game and those quests are normal…just cuz you dont like them to cheat yourself out of them to get easier quests and more loot from quest rewards within a day…..thats not survival thats getting things almost handed to you…. Survival means to survive with what is given to you…not control the world to the point where everything is at your hand which you make it be like that. Your cheating yourself out of a survival game into a quest only game…But you know…play as you like i guess
