I love how innocent this is. From their kisses, to her skepticism, to empathic connection, to her response to his question "do you think I'm ugly?" And very sweet. She's so good to him. His smile after she kisses him. This is what REAL intimacy is. Absolutely Perfect. Shiiiit its easy to have sex with someone, everyone does it everyday. Doubt there's a lot of people that have the balls to do This with someone as perceptive as he is . I'm down.

I’ve tried talking about this kind of energetic transfer between people with a neuroscientist at my University, and she straight up said that what she knows wouldn’t let her believe in this type of thing.

I absolutely agree with Powder's statement, that we're all part of everything. That we are all connected to each other. It is in my opinion just a smaller part of the greater idea of God, and how God is everywhere. I would posit that God isn't just everywhere, but that God is everywhere. Indeed and maybe more correctly, God is EVERYTHING. Or perhaps we are all a miniscule part of God, in the same way a subatomic particle is part of us. When looked at in this way, it is easier to see how we are all connected, and all deserving of the same respect and love. It is our own failing that prevents that from happening, because we all fall short of the glory of God.
This movie was way ahead of it's time....only today with quantum physics and vortex maths do we know that space isn't void and that everything is really connected.....amazing movie, one of my favourite with space odyssey 1991
Saw this movie when it first came out. Made me cry. Just watched it again and had the same response. I love the theme of energy. It never dies, it’s never lost. Our loved ones who have passed are still apart of us.
I like the subtle symbolism at 2:00- when their hands touch, the camera shows that she is wearing a ring with a certain design- two hearts joining together, creating a third shape
What a kick in the arse im feeling from this clip. I treated someone very poorly not too long ago...using sarcasms to confuse her and being distant to make her suffer...and eventually leave. I run into this scene I remember from my childhood and think: "Is there a better person in me? Is it possible?" Every day I learn a little more about being truly empathetic. And I have this clip to thank for helping me begin the process of turning the page.

This is one of my absolute favorite films from childhood to the presently of 2023. Very open-minded yet not sugar-coated in certainsituations. Bea❤️utiful film and actors all around.
Best scene. There's something deep that I can't put my finger on about how this movie is tangled up in controversy and hidden away, only available to buy or rent. Nobody will air it out of fear of lashback for putting it out there. Yet it carries a powerful message that I haven't seen anywhere else. Maybe that deep thing is something about how everything with light is tangled with dark, and the brighter it shines, the stronger the darkness needs to be to balance it. It's a movie that doesn't resonate with critical thinkers, that's for sure.

Jeremy is a real man and a real person he is the perfect example as a friend he always gentle and loving sad he got mostly not always but was treated so bad by some of the bullies however he was loved by some of the characters on her like Jessie and Jeff’s character the teacher.
