    It's an awesome bike all in all. Got mine in late 2023 and can't stop riding it for a single day.
    Super light with only about 150kg and very manoeuvrable, seems reliant and quick in acceleartion, off road capability is also nice with stock tires and the semi-automatic rekluse. Cheap aswell, i bought it new for like 4500€ excluding after market stuff.
    I personally wouldn't change the exhaust, stock rear fender or turn signals, i think that would change to much of it's character, but that's a taste of matter anyway.
    Best looking naked bike out there for sure.

    Great first bike man, I’m an expert rider and I wouldn’t sell mine for the world. It’s my daily and it does great off road, hill climbs, small jumps, hard cornering on the street and tail happy you can keep wide open on the dirt. And I have no problem passing semi trucks without tucking. Great ab workout

    I've had my 2018 model for a year and totally agree (I prefer the unpainted aluminium rims). I have made most of the mods that you have and I found that the handlebar vibration was down to removing the internal brass bar end weights when fitting the bar end mirrors. By cutting off the slope at the end I refitted them and the vibration disappeared. Since I added the FuelX Lite it now runs as it always should have, brilliant. In the UK we get l.e.d. indicators as standard but not as small as those. After it's weight loss programme, mine now weighs 335lb with a full tank of fuel. You might have a tough time replacing it, good luck and thanks for the review.

    Might have to invest in the stage 2 filter and o2 interceptor. My 2022 svart has bar ends, after market exhaust, tail tidy,after market turn signals, and a 1 finger clutch lever and 2 finger break lever and i love the thing. Ride it every chance i get. Probably gonna swap the rear sprocket soon for more acceleration, i highly reccomend the bike for beginners or anyone who doesnt do a lot of highway commuting

    I’ve got the 2021. It’s a really cool bike, but haven’t ridden it much since buying. I have the mid muffler delete I plan on installing this spring. I have those bar ends mirrors and they are great. The turn signals I want are stupid expensive at $99 per but really nice. Finding neutral is a bear. I’ve taken mine off road chasing my little cousin on his dirt bike and the little Svart was quick and torque

      Yea it’s a load of fun. Great for city riding. I picked up the MotoGadget LED turn signals at $60 each I believe. Still pricey but great quality.

    nice video. did you have to install a flasher relay for the led signals, or flashes at the correct interval without it?

    • @StarsAutoSport
      @StarsAutoSport  9 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, I ordered the Kafeek 2 pin LED Flasher relay from amazon. You will need to remove the pins and reposition the terminals to get the relay to properly work. Bit of a pain but not terrible.

    • @StarsAutoSport

    • @SiopaoSauc3
      @SiopaoSauc3 6 месяцев назад

      Might be a size rather than displacement thing too. The outgoing 401s are actually very compact in person. So while they look absolutely unique and are real headturners, their actual presence on the road and also in proportion to taller riders (like 6ft and up) could literally be bigger.

    • @StarsAutoSport
      @StarsAutoSport  9 месяцев назад

      I replaced them mainly because I hated the stock mirrors. Aimed correctly, the end mirrors have great visibility. I purchased the Husqvarna factory equipment, I can’t speak on non husky mirrors.

  • @drewcunningham2

    You are correct about the slip on. Most definitely need an aftermarket slip-on that makes some noise. The stock exhaust is whisper quiet - also, If you are like me, coming from owning and racing sportbikes plus racing motocross throughout my youth, this bike is got no punch at all...it is next to impossible to even get the front end up an inch of the ground..my little RM 80 was a much faster bike than this thing..I took it for a test ride and it is most definitely a bike for someone new to motorcycles. Anyone who has a lot of riding experience and likes to rip it up will not be happy with this pussy cat - however, it does fill a niche market and you can't beat the price!!! Would make an excellent little commuter bike for first time or older riders.

    • @Chevsilverado
      @Chevsilverado 10 месяцев назад +2

      I wouldn’t say it has no punch. There are much slower bikes than this on the market. It definitely isn’t fast though.
      Also you can easily pop the front
      up in second gear.

    • @drewcunningham2
      @drewcunningham2 10 месяцев назад +1

      @@Chevsilverado Yeah, it fills a niche and I am sure it is fine for some - but coming off a somewhat tricked-out GSXR 600, I want something a little quicker than the 401 - though I do not want another sportbike with clip-ons and such an aggressive riding posture - I am getting too old - I will probably look at the new "Street Racers" currently on the market.

      This bike actually rips pretty darn good if you know where to have it in the RPM range. There was either something wrong with the one you rode, or you were lugging it around which this engine doesn't like.
