Most filipinos are generous maybe because most of us at one point in our lives have had experienced hardship and were able to recover from it, so when we have the chance we try to give something back. We also have this urge of taking care of our visitors, we always want our visitors to feel welcome and at home that is as long as we see our visitors kind to us, happy and appreciative, at the same time taking care of our place too! Enjoy the Philippines and take care always!

I noticed how Matvey and Sergei are well-adjusted. I don't think they want to go back to Russia! 😄Matvey loves adventure and will find geckos, crabs, starfishes, sea urchins,... nothing scares him. I can picture Matvey living in the Philippines when he's older, just like his Uncle Andrei. I think Arsenya's first solid food is Filipino food! I don't think he's eaten Russian food, yet. He loves to do whatever his older brothers are doing, as he doesn't want to feel left out. Thank you to the subscriber who sent the big box of goodies! Very kind and thoughtful of you!

Fresh Lapulapu is one of the most delicious fish species and also the expensive one. Sweet and sour, steamed or pesa (boiled with ginger, papaya unripe and sili (pepper ) leaves) are the usual mode of cooking lapulapu. Tanigue and mayamaya are also the other most sought after variety of fish by the Tagalogs of Luzon. Happy eating!

Sister Liza , this is how I cook shrimp. Super quick and easy as well. Instead of boiling it with just water, use seven up or sprite and just add some salt taste. It comes out super delicious!! Lapu Lapu fish is also. delicious paired with sweet and sour sauce.
Semi boil the Broccoli to blanche it or soak them on hot water for 3 to 5 minutes.... then sauté it with butter, garlic, and add little salt & crushed black pepper. Soy Sauce is best used as a dipping sauce for fried vians ( ulam ) ... especially when a squeeze of calamansi is added.
Just on happy & proud notes so happy & very proud of the two older siblingss rodik & matvey/ motya stepping up for beingthe oldest trying hard to help out parents grandma family with some responsibities good job boyz santa will be very nice & generous toyou all including mr masarap whoalwYs helpwith a sweet smile on his sweet face 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼👏👏👏👏✌️👏😘🥰💋🩷💖
That kind of fish is good for sweet and sour sauce. Also, if you want to have lots of broth and lots green vegetables add lemon grass green onions, Malunggay or moringa olifeira , snake beans or sitaw and talbos ng kamote. If you cook it with lots of broth you don’t need to fry it just boil lemon grass, green or spring onions, tomatoes and ginger. Boil around 5 minutes so that the aroma of lemon grass will come out then you can add the fish and sitaw half way to cooking sitaw add talbos and Malunggay. Make sure not to overcook the fish or your vegetables. Kamunggay or malunggay has lots of nutritional benefits. Here in South Australia mostly immigrants of Vietnamese lineage are growing it and selling as well but though Malunggay grows in a tropical area there are some parts of Australia that is hard to grow such vegetables because we have 4 seasons and the summer like this month of December is very hot even using your car you can feel the heat. Philippines has only rainy and dry seasons.
coconut meat is super delicious. you just need to let Papa Sergie cut it in half so you can scrape the meat ... so happy watching your vlog.. regards to the whole family.
Lapu-Lapu is one of the tastiest fishes in the Philippines. It’s delicious and buttery by itself with hardly any salt. It’s one of the best that’s why it’s more expensive
add more oil when frying fish. deep frying will make them crunchy and will cook inside. also, make sure the oil is too hot before putting the fish , so the fish will not stick in the pan.
Lapu lapu is one expensive fish in the philippines. It is k8jda bony but the meat is delicious. You can either do it with sweet and sour or just simply fry it. When u fry no need to flour it. Just make a slit diagonally on the mid part on both side and rub it with salt. Then just drop in a hot oil and fry it until it is a bit crispy. It si nicer to dip with spicy vinegar with garlic and onion.
Lapu-lapu is a very expensive fish here in the Philippines, costing as much as P650 per kilo upwards. But yes, it is also very delicious‼️ Any way you cook it, it is so tasy. That is why it is also so pricey.
If we fried fish po we put magic sarap or bit of betsin and salt..then fried no flour in meduim heat po..firts before you fried the fish make sure po the oil is hot alredy

Lapu-lapu and brocolli. Nice. Also watched cousin Olya cook beef brocolli a few days ago. Suggest to try sweet and sour sauce with a deep fried lapu-lapu. The kids will love it.
Sister Lisa, when frying fresh fish just put salt and ground pepper to taste. To make it crispy put more oil in the pan. And dont over crowd the pan when frying. just put 2 fish depending on the Size Of the fish. We love you guys. enjoy! ♥️🤗
Try to cook prawns with coconut milk and kamyas ( Kalamyas) , with salt and pepper, magic sarap, coconut milk will become thick and the prawns become tasty and yummy.

When I cook sweet and sour fish or lapu lapu I also coat it with a little bit of flour and then fry it. And sometimes I just steam the lapu lapu with spices and a little butter.
Lapulapu fish is so good for tinola, sweet and sour dish, grilled ,and simply fry. It is the #1 fish in the Philippines for me but it is bony, so you have to be careful...or if you have a good knife you can filet it. Blanched broccoli is perfect with salt , pepper and dry minced garlic.

Grouper Fish (Lapulapu) has been a favorite among Filipinos. It's delicious and usually prepared in some occasion like fiestas, birthday parties or sny special events. It is best when cooked in Sweet and Sour style, Kinilaw, Deep Fry and special Tinola. It is rich in Omega that brings more health benefit as well as mental wellness. That makes it expensive and even exported to some countries worldwide. It is mostly a top seller in some popular restaurants in the Philippines
Andrei's face when he ate the brocolli is epic 🤣🤣🤣. Liza, you can stir fry brocolli with just salt and black pepper. The spices doesn't overpower the natural taste of brocolli/other vegetables and enhance their flavour overall. 😊

Shrimp should be cooked quick with just a little amount of water and salt just enough to makchange its color.Otherwise, it will become dry and tough.. it's best when it is juicy. I can see the shirmp is overcooked and it shirnks.
Melted butter with crushed garlic is the best dip sauce for boiled shrimp.
Also don't overcook the shrimp its make dry & the skin sticky in site.
