- Norm MacDonald on Late Night with Conan O'Brien at the very end of the nineties. There was a bit after where Norm was ribbing on the guest coming on after him but since youtube is limited to 15 mins... I had to cut it out, sorry.
Comedy of low expectations and then you realize there's deep layers to the performance. Norm was a real gem.

One of the best things about being a Norm Macdonald fan is showing his clips to your loved ones/friends and not being able to explain why he's funny. They just have to come around to Norm of their own accord
Norm was so great, but nobody made him greater when it came to interviewing him than Conan. They were a perfect pair. Kind of like Carson and Rickles.
Starting my Friday morning laughing hysterically, love this guy so much...this is a rough month...such a loss, such a great, funny and wonderful human...

Don't you just love how Conan hangs, and comments, on every word and utterance?
I know the term "midget" has a very negative history attached to it but I agree with Norm that "little people" sounds very condescending..

I went to the beach and tryed to explore the idea that if you get stung by a jellyfish you can get anyone to piss on you to relieve the pain. Long story short, there are a bunch of people on the beach willing to piss on you, regardless.
Even though he passed 30 days ago...
Norm was a legitimate genius.
Never going to be another one like him....
I bet Conan O’Brien never thought this would be viewed by people almost 24 years later as great comedy. Conan acted as if this whole act was a bomb
