A tiger turret on a KV-1... he does know that the KV-1 was absurdly armored when it was introduced...
He also said Slava means victory... it doesn't it means glory.

T34 was also extremely well armored for when it was introduced. T34 was introduced in 1934, the KV1 came shortly after to replace the ideal of the land battleship that failed in the winter war.
The KV-1 only had 75mm max of armour at the time of the tiger. It was never really upgraded so the KV was able to be punched through by almost every tank with a gun 75mm or higher
@@truesniper8975 A) The Sherman 75mm was only capable of that at near point blank range, and only if there was absolutely no angling of the tank and from the side.
B) The KV-1 Model 1939 had 90mm max armor. Remind me again what year the Tiger came out? The KV-1E, which would have been the variant which was a contemporary with the earliest Tigers, had 110-120mm of armor. The only 75mm that's penetrating those are the PaKs and the Panzer IV F2, which was just being introduced. You could make an argument for the 17 pounder as well, but that doesn't start seeing service on vehicles until '44 for the most part.
In short, you're just plain wrong on all accounts. If you really knew your stuff, you'd know that the issue with the KV-1 was never its armor, but its firepower and maneuverability.

Saying the KV-1 was well armored is just a fact. You didn't see much better armor until the late war heavy tanks (and the Panther).
Absolutely astounding logic, my good sir. And my first comment is directly in response to something in the video, so cry more I guess. He literally says, and I quote, "it's like having a Tiger turret on a KV-1" in the video. This is quite literally directly addressing the video.
1:40 It means the guns were built (the Soviets built and tested 90+% of the soviet guns in game), but they were not given any battleship turret design, or the designs WG found were so minimal, they were not given an official design designation. As a result rather than make up a turret design name, WG went for the more appropriate solution of "in a turret" which actually translates well; as must Soviet naval turrets were designed for one particular gun, and said turret was simply named "turret for X" (just in Cyrillic).

Edit #2 this song is actually an imperial Russian army song before the lyrics were changed in 1914 at the start of world war 1, before once again having its lyrics changed for use by the Russian white guard during the civil war before having more lyrics changes in the 1930’s-1940’s for use by the USSR before it’s last lyric change for use as the anthem for a federation oblast fleet after the Soviet Union collapsed

@@PLUMMITE Despite many people think Stalin is merely a continuation of Lenin, this along with many other things clearly show otherwise, even without looking at those political changes (changes in Comintern policies, Stalin constitution, the gulag and secret police, etc.). The fact that Farewell of Slavianka, a former imperial marching song and White Army song is being reused (by a workers' state supposed to end the exploitative traditions of Tsarism) is a very strong indication that Stalin clearly drifted away from internationalism and a genuine transformation of society. (the Soviet version lyrics is very much nationalistic too)

why is it that when the iowa gets really good dispersion no one complains but when the slava does it, everyone says it's too op?
Because consistency and pen is a thing. Slava has insane pen for 406 guns, it can't Overmatch stuff like Kremlin but it's pen is...well, you can see. Sure every other BB can do the same but it ultimately leads to consistency which Slava is. At least more than other BBs I assume

Because Slava has unironicly phsyics breaking guns, like the math makes no sense.
Shikishima has shells that weigh 3X as much but have less pen at all ranges, including point blank.
not to mention the ballistic curve, the shells fly very flat and very fast, something that makes no sense by having the lightest 406MM shells in the game according to ship stats, nothing makes sense about this soviet fantasy, the very rules of the universe bend around it to make the RU players pay pig RP grind.
Every time I saw “where turtle back” or “do they remove turtle back” I had a mini anurism because turtle back armor is pointed like a triangle on top meaning at certain ranges your plunging fire into basically a flat armor belt, turtle back armor was designed for med/close to close range engagements where as all or nothing is a poor jack of all trades
Well maybe I'm tryhard devil's advocate in here, but the "joke" may be pointing at people who think that "muh turtleback" makes them impossible to citadel like ever. I remember when german BBs were released first alot of people complained how it is totally impossible to citadel those OP monstrocities :P (and I recall specifically answering to those people that you counter them by denying them brawls and plunging fire). I may be wrong and it may be just yuro falling into the dark side of not knowing what turtleback is, of course, but I prefer to stay hopefull :P

I always enjoy coming back to this video, as it's what taught me how to trivialize Slava. This ship is a joke if you just angle or even nose-in. Keep an eye on her and if you're close then rush her, I've taken out Slava is everything from Minotaur to Massa.

Slava has pretty much fall out of favor in SEA server. Thunderer claimed back the throne for so long until they get nerfted down to 21km and even then it's shikishima and Ohio taking the reign BB instead of this.

This is true. Slava already fell out now that they introduced Superships which Slava struggle to deal with. She is still strong in certain games but her guns lack the overmatch needed to deal with angled ships especially Superships. I seen more Ohios and Thunderers now.

Slava translating not as victory, it means glory!!!
His means here is old name - Pobeda (means victory), old name of Slava is Pobeda (currently name of Soviet Tier 8 CV) before change to Slava

i like how only ships that can penetrate battleship stalinium, is enemy big ships, all of the enemy smoll ships, ricochet or cant penetrate stalinium, i use the first battle ship in the soviet tech tree and everything bounce or dont penetrate
And the games guides say if your shells pen is too high and it over pens, it gives smaller damage, but my big boi has soo strong ap shells that it almost oneshoots destroyers (very little armor ships)

Siegfried is going to get gutted by the skill rework from the looks of it, so there's no point. The secondaries are her best selling point, and cruisers don't get any secondary skills. WG said they will probably buff her range to compensate, but she still loses Manual Secondaries.

I think that RN BB citadel raise is highly related with the release of Slava.The Slava was being tested around May.2019,almost the same time with citadel change.Then the citadel change was released in 0.8.6 update,but the release of Slava has been put off until recent version.

Nah, Conq was a really stupid ship, able to heal 66% of normal pen dmg and was basically uncitadellable. Together with the HE that you can't angle agaist it just was there to burn you to death and there was nothing you could do to stop it. It still does but is a tad easier to counter.
VidZarg Well, about 45% of the shells I have fired are AP actually,also I get a lot of Dreadnought with even a trash ship like monarch.So the citadel raise to me is just like WG slapping my face and saying:“How dare you a HE spammer tanking at the front!This is the wrong way to play RN BB and you will never have another chance to do this!”
The issue with this ship is that BBs are all vulnerable to fire,and this happen to be her strength.What WG should do is buffing the ability to against fire or HE damage(like shorter DCP or RP) for BBs and encourage them to push,not stupidly focus on single question.It’s like I broke my leg bone so I chop it off,then I no longer suffer from fracture.
Back to the conqueror,the nerf should be done is decrease the long range spamming ability,like using the same ballistic model as conqueror’s AP.
For me,the nerf to conqueror is good,but not this kind of nerf that ignores smart players who really know how to play the ship but pretending them as stupid as spammers.
