You would have to be working with all four signatures at the time by the looks of this tutorial, which I think will be difficult depending on the simplicity of the journal your making even then it would also take a lot of patience and concentration. But oh it looks so fabulous when it is done Thanks a bunch for sharing your talent with us.
Love this tutorial, brilliant idea to demonstrate on board ,so clear .I do a lot of cross stitch embroidery ,so it all fell into place for me really well .Held the signatures so well am already doing my second one .I used mercericed crochet thread doubled and waxed I'm considering adding beads onto the cross stitch after its finished. Was going to add during stitching but didnt think I could keep it so tight. Thankyou lov e it .
Sure seems like it would be more efficient to work the top set of 3 stations and complete those stitches, and then jump down to work the bottom set of 3 stations.
It's lovely but also looks not that easy to do. Pitty that, at some of the important moments when you actually want to see what's going on, you were out of frame. Although I dó understand why that happens. 😊 Thanks for sharing. ❤
What would be the least amount of signatures you could work with, just wondering I am new to this site so I have not yet even checked out all your previous journals
Thank you but the filming is problematic enough. You are mostly binding than showing. And it is a rather difficult stitching. It's a pity because you did so much work!
Super helpful video. That was a smart idea to demonstrate without signatures the first time through.

That was amazing 🤩 Thank you sooo much for sharing 🙏🏻💐 Would love to see other patterns ❤️
Thank you for sharing. It helped me , and my book is done.
Need to try this one. The results are lovely. Too bad only bookbinders will know how complex it is.
Man... This is great, thank you so much for sharing this, your work is beatiful. Super like man.

Thank you for sharing...!!!
6 holes... what type of thread and is it doubled?
Hii. This is so purty. What sort of thread is that? Or what material? Thanks!
Thanks! The thread is embroidery thread that has been waxed.
Спасибо за урок!
So if I don't have a backing will it work like an exposed binding without the cover?
I tried it. It won't hold, there's too much slack. Terribly finicky and not worth the while in my opinion. Looks cool though

3 would be my guess if you want that pattern.

I think it is very clear from the board
