Steve Jobs is a very good movie, and Kate and Michael are extremely talented actors!

This is my favorite movie. I don't even use Apple products or care much about the real life of Steve Jobs. But it's just that it's such an amazing movie, great story dialogue, cinematography and everything.

Happy that they did filmed at De Anza College in Cupertino, California. I was a student there at the time and appeared as an extra.

I would love to see a second version with Christian Bale, who actually wanted to play Steve Jobs before Fassbander. I wonder how he would have interpreted the role and script.

You feel the same way that I feel about Danny Boyle.
I think he directed the film well. But I would've loved to have seen David Fincher's version. I agree that Christian Bale would've been great, but I thought Fassbender was amazing.

It really pisses me off that Universal's botched nationwide expansion of the film destroyed any chances of this film's legacy matching up to its high quality.

Just thinking that DiCaprio could play this role and he and Kate and Danny would work again together just blow my mind, but he declined this role for The Revenant and well, he won his well deserved Oscar...

Anyone know what lens or rig the director is using at 3:18?

They used a s16 for the first scene, s35 for second, and an arri digital for the third.

i would be fine with windows computers (pc). the mac has not changed my life that much, neither has an ipod or iphone (other smartphones existed prior). most important person in tech. i would say are pioneers like the person who created the first mouse, or the first video game, or video recording device (without this, we would not have video porn, just hustler magazine copies a la the first porn paintings by cave men found in sweden somewhere in a cave...). steve had good marketing talent (and stealing talent if you call it that).

+. Ironic that you say that, Steve Jobs and the people at Apple were actually the first people to bring, at the time, the first iteration of the modern mouse.
