Bruce has a wonderful knowledge of history and has studied history, as has Steve Harris. It's always amazing how Iron Maiden has made so many history lessons into song, Alexander the Great, Empire of the Clouds (about the British airship R101, the British version of the Hindenburg disaster), Death of the Celts, Where Eagles Dare, Passchendaele, The Trooper, the list goes on and on.
