I am a new long-range shooter and this video was extremely helpful! Thanks so much for the easily understood explanations and also thank you for your service brother!
Perfect and helpful Sunday morning info vid.
Nice work once again brother! Thank you!
Great info, thank you.
Brilliant video lad really enjoyed
Nice work bro. No one has ever done a video on bags.
I have an orginal fortunate cookie myself.
Good info on support bags
Will have to check these out. I’m trying to get into PRS, and picked up some cheap Amazon bags that I didn’t like when they arrived: cheap for a reason, I guess. 🤙🥴
he's shootin at Doc's place... Probably not, but dang Green. Loved the video... i'll be purchasing a bag soon. Still shootin off my Med Alice.
Great video brother thanks for the information 👍
Thank you… For watching!

Great video
very helpful thank you! also did youtube remove your video on comparing the MPA PMR Pro rifle to the MPA ESR rifle?
Yes they did. Here’s the link rumble.com/v2bj98u-mpa-pmr-pro-and-pro-ii-comes-with-new-esr-chassis-the-best-prs-chassis-just.html
Great video I have a question what is the best thing to fill the bags with
They come filled, but “best” is subjective and primarily determined by a personal preference. Some people prefer the light fill. Heavy or standard fills are more stable and provide a better shooting position.
Hope that helps!
-Gary
good information!
Where can you find this long range video where you demonstrate the use of these shooting bags?
It will be on our Patreon site. I should have it finished and up tonight or tomorrow. It will be available to Training Academy or higher tiers.

Ok, I’m gonna be that guy. Are we even thinking about how the straps from these bag wrapped over our barrel may be affecting the harmonics? Could be a good video idea to test it out if there isn’t any data already out there
There is data and they definitely affect harmonics which is why a majority of people: strap them over the optic, don’t use strap at all, or buy an Arca rail mount that attaches to the bag. Using the strap would affect every gun differently based on a billion variables, chassis/stock type, barrel profile, where the strap was placed on every barrel… etc. Some wouldn’t see a meaningful POI shift, others would see dramatic shift. The closer to the action you put it the less effect it will have. Personally, and I think most people don’t use any strap but some do and they prefer it. Hope that provides some insight.
Thanks for watching!

Definitely will be getting a couple of these. Do they come filled or empty. If empty what do you suggest to use to fill. My wife is starting to not like you Gary. 😁
They come filled.
Yeah that was a dumb question. I didn’t get that far in the video before I asked but, thanks for the response anyway.
What would you recommend for shooting a 17hmr at the range? Distance is 100, 200 & 300 yards.
You can’t go wrong with the Game Changer or Fortune Cookie. The more I use the fortune cookie, the more I like it. Might be my favorite right now.
For me, the shmedium has basically obsoleted every other bag I have. Id say for 95% of barricades its by far the best and most versarile. For time to time if the barricades are very large or a tire where I need more elevation, Ill borrow my friends fortune cookie
In the last part of the vid Id suggest spreading your legs wider and locking out your knees. Less leg muscle work which equates to less wobble
Good lord, send me a rear bag bro, you got plenty 😂 just starting into long range.
Its my pet peeve, but damping the vibrations is the right term, rather than dampening.
Cool
Don’t tell the atf bags help you shoot and assist with long range accuracy cause they’ll rule that bags are outlawed, then how will I get my groceries home? My pockets?
🤔good point.
👍
Nothing about rear bags?
Not what this video was about.
Is Armageddon gear made in USA ?
Yes sir. Made in USA by a veteran owned and staffed company.
@@paramounttactical thank you sir
Best bags are the ones you make yourself, Don’t pay the ridiculous prices they charge.
Gay
A plastic bag of rice is cheaper then dirt
Cool. You shoot with your BS bag of rice and miss everything we’ll be over here banging steel at distance. Dumbest comment I’ve seen in a while and that’s saying something. 🙄 FFS
I refuse to use a pump pillow. I get they serve a purpose but I don’t see them as practical in a real world scenario.
Totally disagree. I used one last week in a sitting position. Rifle was in a tripod. Worked great under my strong side elbow
@@ack495 I get it, that’s fine. What’s your real world scenario? Just my take.
@@jasonrad9332 barricaded subject with a gun that ended well with no getting hurt. I was across the street on the second floor of another building, 70 yards from the one side of the subjects house. We were there for hours. Hog saddle and pump pillow worked well.
@@ack495 that makes sense. I come from a military mindset, and think more of patrolling or walking in. There are times, you could have one in a vehicle and use it quickly probably similar to your situation. Again, I think they serve a purpose, just not my style.
Good work ending the threat though!
@@jasonrad9332 Retired Infantry here and just getting started in this. snivel gear in a waterproof baag? If you are taking that weird ass shot at 800M I'd be pulling crap out my ruck to set that up. I guess it comes down to thinking about your options and then figuring out what gear you have to make it happen.
Its kool and all but man why does every bag need to be a dam ricky recon bag..... ?? Yo give me some shit with personality.
That’s why God made spray paint.
