    I bought this from Gary when he first got them in stock. Couldn’t be happier with it. I already had a bubble level on my rifle but this blows it out of the water. It is way easier to see the SendIt while looking through your glass. Easy setup up and use. Plus for all the hunters the brightness can be adjusted so there is nothing to worry about. I definitely going to put one on my MPA when I order one. And definitely going to get the vertical mounts

    Been using the LRA Send it level since 2018 on my Accuracy International AT. I've used it both vertically and horizontally mounted. It beats the snot out of anything with a bubble. I've also used it hunting on my .300 WM, as well as crossbows for deer. It's easy to move. Personally, I prefer the older model that had a bubble level built into the cap as a redundant method of confirming level or if you were worried about the light signature (I actually switched back to the horizontal mount on my Spuhr because of the bubble level redundancy). Great piece of gear and highly recommended from a 5 year user.

    In regard to mounting it in the 90 degree position always just buy the extended mount. The short one will more then likely interfere with your throw lever or you wont be able to fit it on the rail. The extended one doesnt stick out far enough to not just buy it over the normal one. Do yourself a favor and buy it here with the coupon code you will love it.

    @paramounttactical Gary, rather new to your channel, have to commend you on your no-BS BLUF approach to sharing good, useful information. Your transparent, empirical methodology is just right and engenders confidence and trust. I have a question for you. I have been running a Rianov (Cant/Slope Indicator) CSI for many years. Have you looked at the CSI? The cost is about the same as the LRA and it reads out the Angle or Cosine Correct Factor for both cant & slope. I'm not affiliated with Rianov, just an end user and not trying to sell anything to anyone here.
    The simple fact is, the slope is not something I use often. I ask since I am fundamentally curious if there is any significant/practical improvement in sensitivity with the LRA over the CSI and if so then evaluate if I sell the CSI and grab the LRA instead. The thing I like about the CSI though is I get values I can plug into a calc (don't have a ballistic RF or binos).
    Cheers and thank you for your high-quality work.

    Really a useful device for long range shooting! I have one problem though, shooting at game at long range, that these devices and high powered scopes promote!
    Too many people take these long shots at our big game species and wound animals. I am all for shooting at paper or metal gongs at distances over 700 yards, but most of the cartridges fired by multiple people today, do not retain sufficient energy to safely put down an elk past that distance.
    In addition field conditions during hunting are much more variable and unpredictable than on a shooting range. Even if we are able to hit the bull's eye every time at a 1000 yards, we should, for ethical reasons, restrain our shooting distances at our wildlife resources to a much closer range.

    • @paramounttactical
      @paramounttactical  10 месяцев назад +3

      I agree on your larger point but I don’t think any of that can be attributed to any devices. All of that is a matter of ethics. People have been shooting at game outside the range of their skills since guns were invented. It’s a matter of ignorance and ego not due to technological advances. 🤷‍♂️
      If you dont know your capabilities, haven’t researched the limits of your muzzle energy and terminal ballistics, you shouldn’t shoot. It’s a solid point though.
      Thanks,
      Gary

    • @jasonsponsler21
      @jasonsponsler21 10 месяцев назад +2

      It’s two different issues people do dumb and unethical stuff all the time and them having or not having a electronic level won’t be the deciding factor.

    • @stefanschug5490
      @stefanschug5490 10 месяцев назад +2

      Couldn't agree more with you! These devices are all great in the right hands and it's not an issue about the gadgets itself but rather about proper education of people. There are just too many people these days that think, without any real knowledge of external and terminal ballistics, that they can shoot at anything they see through their 20+ powered scopes. In the old days of open sights, these same guys would have not even dared to taken a shot passed 200 to 300 yards at anything. As other commentators say, it is not a device issue but rather a people issue and people do dumb things forever.@@paramounttactical

      We had scope mounted anti cant devices on all of our student rifles and I got rid of them. We go over all those rifles before each course and every course about half of them slipped to some extent. They’re also a PIA to install.
      The LRA are more accurate, you can see them better, (you’ll find yourself forgetting to check the bubble levels often whereas with those LED lights, you can’t forget to check) and what I like is you can easily pull them off and put them on another rifle in 10 seconds. I don’t keep one on my ARs all the time but I always zero with one.
      Hope that helps.

      @@toshmiller5571 for me, the number 1 requirement for a spotting scope is it must have a reticle in it. You can’t accurately make corrections spotting for someone else without that. If you just want something that you can see holes in paper at 2-300 yards, you got lots of options from Vortex, Aries, Athlon and I’m sure many others. If that’s all you’re looking for, given their warranty and reputation, I’d go with Vortex Diamondback HD and be done. If you’re wanting one with a reticle and within that price range… that gets a little trickier. I’m not sure there is one.

      same here. I use the Short Action Customs tool (with picatinny rail & Starret level) to set the scope reticle to plumb bob, At the same time, use the scope ring mount to install the LRA. Once that's done, the scope (with rings) can easily be moved to another rifle. Put an LRA mount on each scope this way, allows me move the LRA level to any rifle.. You won't have to study that bubble level to see how close your rifle is to level.. it's PLENTY VISIBLE in you peripheral vision.. I love it!

    Does level really affect your group within 300m? like shooting a 6.5cm

    • @paramounttactical
      @paramounttactical  10 месяцев назад +2

      Oh yeah. It will effect your group at 100. And if you zero with a canted group at 100 your data will be all f’d up all the way out. Under 300 will it result in a miss on a man sized target? It depends on how much cant you’ve introduced but not likely to miss, but it does effect group or placement more than people realize. Same on an AR. We do a midrange carbine course 100-650ish on smaller around 10” targets. LOTS of misses even under 300 due to cant. Under 300, trajectory of good .223 ammo is close to 6.5.
