@deepee This is so me rn!! It honestly happens to almost every artist so it’s totally understandable! My burnout lasted for about 3 to 4 years and I just started getting back into loving art all over again -v-;
I currently go to art college and my advice would be to honestly take your time when it comes to assignments! Like you can break up your process bit by bit throughout the week in order to avoid extreme burnout like I did -v-;
I also noticed that a big problem for me was getting started. Once you push yourself, you might want to even keep going for longer! If not, you could at least say that you got started with your assignment:))
You could even set a timer for how long you need to spend on it. Idk but when I do it, I usually go over the time limit. It’s like reverse psychology in a way xD

i know that exact feeling, and honestly my advice is to just go for it. if not youll forever be stuck in a loop of “im not good enough yet”, and trust me it feels amazing once you take that first step of getting it on the page. just remember everything you do is practice so nothing is wasted :)

I've always loved to draw, and I created an art account to share them. but as I discovered all the artists there, and met a lot of people who draw constantly (I'm in an high school oriented in art), I realized how poor my art was, and started to hate it. I always compared myself to my friends and the artists I love on instagram, and it became an endless loop. because seeing them motivates me to draw because it makes me want to become like them, as well as it makes me feel so hard about my art, like literally every time I draw I want to cry. so I hope this will be my magic pill to finally improve and become as talented as the people I admire.

same i have the paper the pencils and colours but i just feel shame pool in me so i end up just doing nothing it's mainly me feeling like i'm already a failure cause my sister was really good at art (and still is) at 12 and i'm 15 and can't do anything she's seen my art before on my channel and she's probably mocked it in her head cause she doesn't like me at all

This subliminal works so well. Before using this subliminal, I was having a difficulties with rendering my drawing. However, today I was able to render the most scrumptious nose and eyes I've have ever seen. My art has never looked this great. I am listening to this again because I want to be able to render the hair and the lips. (This is not manifesting, these are the actual results).
Update: I looked back at my art months later and realized that it didn't look finished. Tbh, it wasn't as great as I thought it was so I am using this to turn my drawing into a masterpiece

BRO okay so earlier i was just drawing out of boredom bc there was nothing interesting me atm and then i started drawing/sketching and i was bad at shading realistically and then i drew a headshot with shading completely, hair, eyes, nose (the nose surprised me bc it turned out good and detailed!). mouth, neck! it turned out really good and i was like there is no fucking way i just drew that mindlessly :0 but yea go me!
