Viv’s words at the end of the episode is one of the reasons why she’s one of my all time favourite Bill characters. She wasn’t just a policewoman who wants to ensure the area is safe, but she had such a caring attitude for others too, especially victims. The social worker was portrayed by Robert Lister, who voiced station announcements on British Rail stations for many years.
