They way I check for clearance between the vanes and sight is load your arrow backwards. Run the tip through the D loop and bring the vanes right under the sight. Run your sight right down to them. Hope this helps. Good luck at TAC 👍

You should get some 500 spine Victory 3DHV arrows with 100 grain glue in points. Then you could get close to 100 yards.
Best arrow there is for getting out to 100 yards with lighter poundage and shorter draw lengths. Good luck at TAC!

One more tip on the HHA and UV3 set up with a 2 pin. Have HHA send you the RYZ frame that way you have two pointers (one for that bottom pin) then you will get even more distance....probably around 10+ yards with your specs.

I've had problems shooting from indoors to outdoors before. Arrow would really drop bad at a 50 yard shot. I think it had to do with the room dampening the shot and causing the limbs to slow down slightly.

There is no particular reason why you cannot drop to different knuckle gap to get extra distance if you need to (you will lose the peep but it works), had shoulder issues a few years ago and it allowed me to get to 100 OK ish at lower poundage.
If you try it sight it in beforehand, do not try it on the fly !! If I had an opportunity for the range I would guess I could get close to 200 on the third knuckle (pinky finger) gap, would like to try it some time ! (It would be interesting to try it with my hinge, but probably not advisable, best try the thumb first !)

The broadhead is an awesome archery rangefinder. Very accurate! And as Kaitlyn said, excellent in low light conditions. Have tested mine against IFAA spec target bales (measured using a certified calibrated tape) on a club practice range and it is absolutely spot on out to their furthest bale (80 yards). Value for money, it really can't be beaten.

An idea for another video for this armchair expertologist - how does an archer deal with elevation? When your target is higher or lower than you, does this need correction of your aim differently than in horizontal shots where you adapt to distance only?

Bahahahahaha no it’s not, it’s a sign of being heavy on the back wall… I do the same thing with my button and I can assure you that my button goes off by me relaxing my index with pressure on my trigger… same exact way I set off my hinge (except for the trigger pressure)… if you wanna see an exaggerated follow through then you’d have to look for kinda a 2 step follow through where there is an immediate jerk as the release breaks followed by the big follow through… but you’d clearly see a separation in the two stages… she could possibly be commanding her shot, but this follow through is from loading on the back wall and back tension and she is definitely not “punching” the trigger
