I love seeing good games coming from indie developers in a time when we only get 1-2 AAA games a year that are worth the money. This game is evidence that you don't need massive studios, or millions/billions of dollars to burn to make a good experience that people want to play.
It is like a full immersion movie. You get so wrapped into the story. The visuals, sounds, music and gameplay, are so fluid and beautiful. Cinematic piece of art.

No, it's pretty common, it's just that games with a lot of functionality, story, or art take a lot of effort to make for one person. Which are the games that you usually hear about. For, say, a puzzle game with simple graphics, that could very well be made by one person.

BRUH.. You can see what ONE person with a massive amount of passion is capable of.. some of the billion dollar AAA studios can be put into shame by this guy.
I used to watch my older brother play horror games because I was too scared. Now I’m in my 30s watching them in bed because I’m still too scared. Great work ❤

This may be just me, but I really appreciate your comment about the alcohol and that everyone has a struggle and some people can't get out of it, and that hopefully they aren't hurting any of their loved ones in the process. As someone who has struggled with alcohol as a coping mechanism in the past, that hit pretty deep in a good way. I dunno why, but it just feels like a bit of the struggle has been acknowledged. Anyway, for any other folks out there who are also struggling (regardless of what your struggle may be), just know that you aren't alone and there are people thinking of you. Take one day at a time. The scariest ambience of any game. They are very very good at walking the line of not showing too little or too much. Seeing actual aliens was a bit much for me; it starts to feel more trope-y and less like the unknown, but it was still tense af. The sheer artistic genius required to make the atmosphere so surreal. I don’t think I’ve seen something which so embodies the term “eerie”. Insane
Ooh, an alien cosmic horror game? And it’s going to have multiple episodes? I love this sub genre, because it introduces a bit of science to the horror. It’s pretty damn impressive that the developer made the whole game by themselves too.
I wish there was a cosmic horror game, where you start out as a completely sane normal person, no trauma/drama, slowly turned insane very subtly, over the the course of the entire game. I feel like they all start with someone dealing with recent trauma, which I totally get, that's like cthulhus thing, right? But what if he dug into the mind of someone completely rational, perfect mental health, life going great, and then you hear a quiet whisper every now and again, that slowly manifest shadows, then turns into cosmic figures of sorts, then visions, etc.
These cosmic horror games keep turning out so amazing and the graphics are phenomenal. I've got my popcorn and my blanket at the ready. Can't wait to watch this ^_^

Them mentioning entering the zone makes me want to suggest playing the STALKER games. They are pretty amazing and deal with cosmic horror as well. great video as always
The fact that a single developer made this absolute masterpiece of game is just insane. The game seems extremely well done, highly immersive and original. I hope to see more games of the developer on this channel!

Holy shit, this was phenomenal. PHENOMENAL. This is such a high-quality game, and the fact that this was made by ONE MAN is even more crazy! I cannot wait for more, and definitely will support this dev.
The amount of investment this game ellicits through ambiance, environment, and sound is a masterclass in storytelling without text and speech. The triple A developers can really learn something from this. This is INCREDIBLY well done!
I don't know why but this reminds me of that one game where the main character has to go through a shit ton of horror to retrieve a black box combined with a bit of the House on the Hill vibes. I may be wrong
Been watching your vids for a few years now, and I'm not one for commenting. I felt like this game deserves some recognition. Absolutely one of the best if not the best cosmic horror I've watched you play in years. Kudos to the developer. He is an incredible artist, and deserves the support.
It always makes my day better when we get an IGP video. You don't see many youtubers focusing on this type of game, be it Psycological Horror, Lovecraftian Horror, Cosmic Horror, or Weird Horror. and when they do, its once in a blue moon. Yet With IGP you can safely assume that the next video will be something absoluely terrorfying and strange, yet amazing.
Hearing Indie have an indiegasm over such well made, hidden gems is a big part of why I love this channel. He spotlights some fantastic games that so many of us would probably never have heard of otherwise. And while I wouldn't play majority of these (I can't play horror 😅), I'm glad games like this get the attention they deserve.
Good evening IGP happy Friday the 13th my dude! I'm so excited to see a new video out it's perfect timing and I can't wait to see this! All your content is truly top tier.
adam is a triple A studio with hundreds of devs in the form of just a single person!! what engine was this made in? and id love to know if every asset is made by him!! dude has serious talent
Dude.. the LOTR piano playing was gorgeous. It made me cry, as it reminded me of an old friend who sadly passed when i was younger. He loved LOTR as much as me and played violon and piano. He used to play then music for me and even at school. I miss him to this day. Rip Jeremy, and even though it was a simple act of fate, thank you for reminding me of him
This is actually the most impressive game I think I've ever seen, the atmosphere, the mechanics and don't even get me started on the sounds E. g. I really liked the way the piano was fully functional even when he stepped or took an item off of it. I know a lot of games probably have that too, but for some reason I really enjoyed it in this one and I promise that's not just because IG played the LotR theme(although that was impressive as well).
Mate the amount props just for the first cutscene boggles my mind, very detailed props that only have a few seconds to be shown, tha dedication for just for that blows my mind.
I was on my phone while watching this on my laptop so I wasn't paying too much attention until 53:30 where the music changed. And for the rest of the game my whole body was frozen in fear just from the music. This is how you do a soundtrack for cosmic horror games. Excited to see where this games goes.
This is BEYOND fantastic for a single person, jesus christ. From all the "single DEV" games I've ever seen or played, this one blows every other out of the water without a shadow of a doubt. Literally miles ahead.
Oh my god, this was incredible! The eerie atmosphere, sounds and events that makes you feel watched, the cameras pointed towards the sky, the tank in the water, the burning pit, the piano, the horrifying open field around the third tower, the thing passing overhead when you reach said tower, twigs and rocks silently starting to float. Just wow. Wow! And just the sounds and movement from the purple orb? Confusion and fear, because is it attacking or not? You're never really allowed to understand what is happening when something does happen, and it keeps you curious! Freaking chefs kiss!! 💋👌
Holy shit, this game is truly something from another whole level of cosmic horror. The quality of the enviroment and the lighting are phenomenal. The sound desing is incredible, it truly is unsettling and it really makes you feel a part of this horrific experience. I really have no clue how a single person was able to create all this, and I can't wait to see how the story will continue. I bought the game as soon as I've finished watching this video, 6$ best spent in my life.
god i love the editing you do when you go underwater, muffling your voice! such an amazingly subtle, yet very defining detail. really adds to the immersion!
At first I was impressed by IGP's piano song (love LOTR dude!) and then amazingly impressed that this game is by a SOLO dev?! Crazy! Would love to see more of this!
IGP and friends (Skilly, Icy, Drae, and draw) are my absolute favorite creators They are all completely underrated! What made me start watching was the screams 😂😂 what kept me watching is their dynamic together.! I’ve seen all their videos maybe even two/three times.
I love short shift in tone when he enters the open field at 52:25 to give it an extra level of discomfort and to let you know the entity is in the area
I think my favorite part of any horror game is the extreme looming sense of dread, which tbh hasn't been in a lot of recent horror games. This nailed it. I was a little turned off finding a gun. I don't want this to be a resident evil but with aliens. But I also don't want it to be outlast where you can't fight back or a horror game where it's just a psychological trip.
I know you love cosmic horror as much as me!. Thanks for playing it bro, i suggested this to you a while ago. Honestly this is the best cosmic horror I've played in a long time and this Dev deserves your love or attention.
I see Cosmic Horror and IGP I click, watch, and enjoy. I couldn't believe that ONE DUDE made this game. It looks just as good as anything a big name publisher would release. The fact this guy made a game with this much detail and atmosphere is nuts. And the menu. THE MENU! That menu is so damn cool. The detail alone in that menu is crazy. I was really impressed with this game. Hands down one of the best looking horror games I've seen in a while and the fact it is created by one person is just insane to think about. The amount of work put into the game is amazing. I really hope this series can continue. I also love that we are at a point now where individuals can create a game at this level and release it on their own and people can get to play it, enjoy it, and give feed back that the creator can take and use and make other games down the road. Just the ability to do something like this is fantastic to see.
Convolution is an amazing part of math and science. It’s used in all types of engineering, especially communication and it’s so cool to see it used this way.
I watched CJUGames play this and thought it looked absolutely stunning and insane. The developer is not only soloing this project, but knocking it out of the park! The minecart is a great way to explain the Resident Evil box system is one many awesome details! I am glad to see other folks pick this up and give it the recognition it deserves!
Greatly appreciated the shire piano playing. Impressed that the game allowed for that much detail in a piano, but also that you knew how to play it. Gold star!
The fact that This game and Mortuary assistant was made by one developer screams dedication to horror.
I was thinking on Mortuary Assistant too, both are indie horror games that are way better and more well done that the average.
Oh hell naw

You don't see many youtubers focusing on this type of game, be it Psycological Horror, Lovecraftian Horror, Cosmic Horror, or Weird Horror. and when they do, its once in a blue moon. Yet With IGP you can safely assume that the next video will be something absoluely terrorfying and strange, yet amazing.
I've watched almost every video on this channel and IGP playing the piano is by far one of the coolest things I've soon so far. Bravo.
Indie getting spooked by the color from space and then playing concerning hobbits on the piano after in a crusty garage is such a vibe
Good evening IGP happy Friday the 13th my dude! I'm so excited to see a new video out it's perfect timing and I can't wait to see this! All your content is truly top tier.
Those animal noises just at the first kinda encounter were so unsettling I had tingling running down my body from shivers. Love it.
Not RUclips's best creator dropping an hour of content for us
The sound design is just, *chefs kiss*
adam is a triple A studio with hundreds of devs in the form of just a single person!! what engine was this made in? and id love to know if every asset is made by him!! dude has serious talent
Dude.. the LOTR piano playing was gorgeous. It made me cry, as it reminded me of an old friend who sadly passed when i was younger. He loved LOTR as much as me and played violon and piano. He used to play then music for me and even at school. I miss him to this day. Rip Jeremy, and even though it was a simple act of fate, thank you for reminding me of him
Some serious talent to make such an amazing game! Grabbed the Founders Edition a few minutes into the video and can't wait to try it out!
This is actually the most impressive game I think I've ever seen, the atmosphere, the mechanics and don't even get me started on the sounds
E. g. I really liked the way the piano was fully functional even when he stepped or took an item off of it. I know a lot of games probably have that too, but for some reason I really enjoyed it in this one and I promise that's not just because IG played the LotR theme(although that was impressive as well).
Man I hope the dev sees this and hits him up, I wanna see more of this but I can't afford games 😂
Mate the amount props just for the first cutscene boggles my mind, very detailed props that only have a few seconds to be shown, tha dedication for just for that blows my mind.
This is very much fucking awesome.
The entire production, sound, graphics, is akin to a Hollywood level movie, Adam you're a diamond amongst haystack, good job
hey look its asmons house
DUDE! i've LITERALLY seen ALL of IGP's videos at least once, I've NEVER heard him praise a game like this. Sofa king cool!!
Thank you Indie for playing this game! I'm a Hungarian too, and I'm really happy to see you enjoying this game. ☺
I really loved that little nod to lord of the rings you did on the piano at 29:41 ❤
Holy shit, this game is truly something from another whole level of cosmic horror.
IGP and friends (Skilly, Icy, Drae, and draw) are my absolute favorite creators
They are all completely underrated!
Gotta love the mic changes to fit the mood. Amazing touch with all these solo games. Really adds to the feel. Amazing work as always dude
Your videos are always such masterpieces. Each one is such a magical experience❤ This one was amazing!!
Been absolutely loving the game choice by IGP recently. These past few videos have been amazing!
Indy legit stopping to play us a beautiful little diddy, mid-game, is a big insight into why I keep coming back. You’re the f*ckin’ best, man 🤘
I watched CJUGames play this and thought it looked absolutely stunning and insane. The developer is not only soloing this project, but knocking it out of the park! The minecart is a great way to explain the Resident Evil box system is one many awesome details! I am glad to see other folks pick this up and give it the recognition it deserves!
I legitimately teared up at the piano. You sir are a man of culture
Greatly appreciated the shire piano playing. Impressed that the game allowed for that much detail in a piano, but also that you knew how to play it. Gold star!
