Hi Alex! I’m a male cabin crew in the second Airlines mentioned in this video. Thx for making this amazing one and always bringing positive energy and motivation to your viewers. I hope one day I could jump to Etihad after few years flying in the future. 👍🏻

As much as the Emirates one is straight forward, the Singapore Airlines safety video just cannot be beat. It has to be the most stunning and perfectly crafted safety video ever. Just everything about the video is so peaceful. In my opinion the safety video does 2 things for SIA. Firstly the video perfectly captures the vibe of SIA and their staff, perfectly trained with their soft touches and finishes. It really gives passengers a good feel of what the airline is like and that’s what makes it so great. A video like Emirates’ wouldn’t work for SIA, it would just seem so out of place. The second reason why it’s so great is because it creates a feeling of nostalgia when you fly with them again. The video is really memorable with the stunning music and views and every single time I hear it I just smile because it brings back such good memories of my flights with them. I really hope SIA never changes it because it is simply perfect for an airline as polished as them.

The Emirates video is just how safely videos were like in the old days. My first wide body flight was on a Britannia Airways Boeing 767-200 in March 1987 and it used a video demonstration for the first time on a huge screen at the front of each cabin. No such thing as seat back TV then the main benefit was it saved the cabin staff having to do it manually.
After the safely video in flight entertainment would start with the news from the last 2 weeks so you could see what had happened while you were away- no Internet or satellite TV in hotel rooms then.
Unfortunately the main news item was the terrible Herald of Free enterprise ferry disaster which had just happened in Belgium with a huge loss of life most of the dead British tourists who had been on a cut price trip organised by The Sun newspaper and I remember as we thundered down the runway at Alicante on the screen were images of the doomed vessel laying completely on its side which perhaps didn't give you much confidence for the flight 😅 as in the 80s it was quite general let's say to have 2 or 3 fatal air disasters in a month

The old emirates safety video was so so good! If anything the best part of the flight was the safety video!😊😊

Singapore Airlines is hands down the best safety videos the airlines in the world have ever produced!! Too straight forward videos won’t passenger’s attention.

I really hope that all the airlines follow Emirates' example and just stop with the lame cringe attempts to be either funny or entertaining or distracting. The JAL safety video is another excellent example of what a safety video should be about, factual and serious. Two of the worst safety videos currently are BA and Air India ... both embarrassingly bad.

Garuda Indonesia has the worst. It's a tryhard ripoff of SQ's and it just feels so off
