Really interesting! Thanks for posting~ Our experience was happenstance; hubby had a sudden diagnosis of large brain tumor Christmas time '16; after his 1st surgery I'd randomly booked (2am-kids & I exsausted) us a rm at the Queen Anne hotel SF. I didn't know its history! super interesting place, very pretty.(& haunted apparently) Survived the 1906 quake & fires. Our focus was of course zooming to & fro to the hosp; hubby was in bad shape. The Q Anne was super super calm. I recall lighting a starter log in the tiny fireplace in our rm-& kind of mindlessly realised it was still rather unburnt though like 10 hrs went by?! We were anx of hubby, so if a 'presense' was near us, we wouldn't noticed really~You may enjoy walking around that hotel; lots of antiques, 4 floors (we stayed on 3rd & 4th), a lobby, etc. Happy New Yr!

Like your fortune. My granddad Leonard used dowsing to find water in order to dig a well. He used a forked stick from a green tree limb.
