Fyi, if you're using the SSL UF8, the UC1 track selection just follows it. I only rarely open the interface, just select the track on the UF8 and the UC1 controller automatically adjusts that track.
Ya i get ya. I dont think you could go wrong with the SSL UC1 or The Console 1. Im working on using them both. I know its silly but my friend sent me the UC1 and it means a-lot to me. After having the original console 1 i wanted to test the new one out. So im gonna keep both and kinda use each one. I might just do EQ with the ssl and drive on the console one and so on till if find my workflow . still working on it.. lol.. Thanks again iggs
Pretty cool comparison, but I’m undecided about whether to get the SSL UC1 + UF1 Bundle or the Softube Console + Channel Bundle for mixing with Logic Pro and occasionally with Pro Tools. Which one would you recommend? Thank you in advance! Cheers!
I'm gunna be honest. I've been eyeing the SSL bundle purely for my love of the SSL sound and look, but after watching this video, in my gut it felt like the Console 1 was far easier to use and navigate.
Ya i get ya its a hard call they are both great. They both have things I dont like. The layout of the US1 just clicks when reaching for EQ. It just feels like like a desk. But the Console one layout is great as well. I wash ya had a way to get hand on if ya have not, hay thanks again..
Hi Cert!! The SSL UC1 has a pulg that you can map 3party plug to it knobs. But i just use them for one function only what that are good at. i find it faster to just add a say ProQ and use the GI.. Thanks for posting.. glad you like the vid. Be Safe man,,,,

Hope you love it..

Man i dont know about pro tools. i think i would read up on pro tools and each controller as i dont know
good times
Have both. As for me Ssl is a little faster for work, but Console 1 way more flexible. As for faders - console 1 fader mk3 - no other way!
Thanks for Posting. I wonder what my flow will be next year. as im keeping both.. Thanks Again!!
