Excellent video! I’m going to use this for my projector screen. I can direct the sensor at the lens! Lowers the screen when lens is illuminated!

Also, do you have any videos on how to use limit switches with a dc motor? i just got a used car window motor and want to press a button to make it move one side and stop (limit) and then when i press down, for it to move to the other side and stop (another limit)

Se quiser aprimorar, poderia colocar 2 interruptores, um deles para ligar/desligar o modo automático e o outro para abrir/fechar a janela manualmente, sendo que este segundo interruptor só ficaria ativo quando o automático estivesse desligado.
Если датчик будет расположен на улице,а это скорее всего так,то необходим на выходе таймер задержки срабатывания на 1...2 минуты от случайной засветки (свет от проезжаюжей машины)... Для задержки нужно всего 3 детали:транзистор,резистор,конденсатор(подобрать)..

Does that mean a non duty cycle relay is gonna sit there activated for 8 to 12 hours, in either of the configs? Sure the relay only consumes just a few mA's, but, still.. Maybe limit switches to drop the feeds to the circuit instead. Clever though, either way.. Just a thought ..

What for to close the window if it is dark outside already?
it should be closed (partially) when it is too bright (=hot) outside and open during the night to ventilate the house better or by a wake-up timer..

This unit won’t shut off when the window is open unless there is a limit switch in series. It will continuously tell the window to open if light is present.

Nice idea! However, even it doesn't really matter, connecting the blue wire to a brown one and the brown wire to the blue one?
technically to work it doesn't matter. But for regulations it does. It's color coding, so it has a meaning which people might expect who will work on it (maybe after you sell your house). I would stick to the color coding and put brown on brown and blue on blue.
That's quite revealing. Anyone with experience in electronics sticks to the color coding.
It doesn't matter if is "needed" or not. You keep a standard and the circuit is much easier to repair if you do so.

There are 3 wires. How can triacs be used !! This is the simplest way !
@@Mextraf there is no dc component triac is directly use for a outlet LN or L1 L2 plus ground if you have metal housing just grounded to avoid fire.

Энергию да согласен а в состоянии работы сколько угодно. В щите автоматики например можно увидеть реле в цепи защиты. Пока есть 🍴🍕🍔🍴🍕🍔 на катушку всё ок. Видимо

Quasi ben fatto ad eccezione che in questo modo non puoi controllare il relè in nessun modo. Se ad esempio sei fuori al balcone a prendere aria e il sole tramonta, la tapparella si chiude e tu rimani fuori senza poter rientrare in casa.
Ci vuole come minimo un punto di comando aggiuntivo, a prescindere il fatto che si voglia rendere il sistema domotico o meno, e inoltre bisogna predisporre un bypass del sensore per poterlo all'occorrenza disabilitare.
Когато последно използвах такова реле, имаше проблм, че в часовете, в които деня преминава във вечер (или обратното), за някакъв период от време, поради промяната на светината, релето се включва и изключва няколко пъти. Възможно е причина да е облачно време или игра на сянка от дървета, но в тези случаи за кратко време е възможно щората да се вдига, сваля, докато светлината не се "стабилизира". Иначе добро предложение ;)

Motor has its own controller. At 0:53 you see that max and min position has to be set. After reaching it the power is cut off.

Motor in video is 230V??? Who has 230V near their windows? In US, for homes, very impractical....
The design for this side of the pond would only require 120V blondes. I mean blinds! Wow.
That, or 12 volt DC actuators powered by a transformer, as I am not enthusiastic about running line voltage anywhere I don't have to.
Misleading title: That's curtains not windows ... and you have to have electric blinds to begin with... your just adding a photo sensor ... if someone is smart enough to follow the wiring than they're smart enough to come up with that on their own and figure out how to do it. Also where do you get electric blinds that don't have this function built-in nowadays? Just say'n.
