Those are some really solid tests! Extremely creative as well! Though I’m not sure how I feel about the constant shaky cam, I think it usually works better for much larger scale battles. I did really appreciate the recreation of the G3/MP5K charging handle slap though!
I simply just have onion skin on and follow a specific objects movement with the camera, making sure that it stays in the same spot of the screen while moving as well.

I found to get better looking blood it is better to use regular coloured bluetac and then colour with a mix of black and red whiteboard markers

I also have a bipod that rotates left to right and side ways for more movement

i just use red clay
I have red modeling clay but it tends to stick to the people
