Nice job man! You’ve improved a lot. The easing in and out was overal much better in this film than some of your past works. The audio design was simple but well done. The sets were detailed and varied. The only tip I’d have for you is to make your first person shots more zoomed in to show less of the tip of the shoulder where his armour piece is and more of the actual lower arm parts. Great stuff man really enjoyed this.

Nice use of various environments, and the flow of combat was easy to follow. Also liked the touch of the ultra shadowing chief for the whole vid only to keep missing his chances to take him out, reminded me of the spec ops elite from CE who you only see once on an elevator at the very end of the game but has a wild backstory in the books on how he kept trying and failing to kill Chief.

I really like how almost every enemy is in red making it feel like this is the same banished armor design from Halo Wars 2 even though I understand for infinite they wanted to have vibrant colors for them I don't mind it's still a cool detail.

Only critique would be maybe have more wider shots for establishing new scenes so it feels more dynamic and less confusing to the viewer when transitioning (like going from the marine base back to the outside world).

I love your environment designs. And the way you used voices from the games was really nice. This gives me older stop motion vibes in all the best ways.

Thank you! I really do want to capture more of those older animations (especially the ones by FatBird Things). I’ve always been a fan of using the toy like nature of mcx to get away with goofier comedy that would probably seem out of place in a more serious animation.

Fun fact: When the Banished speak alien, they use the Sangheili language with a heavy Jiralhanae dialect. So the dialogue is pretty accurate
Well, I feel like it helps to be more accurate to the lore because I used sound files for halo reach and halo 3 brutes.
I love your work man. When I finally moved into my new house I was thinking of trying to animate. Clearly I have no chance against you.
Don’t let that discourage you! Instead, it’s better to view it as a challenge, something to motivate you! I didn’t get to this level immediately, it was a slow and gradual climb, something that I think we’re all capable of.
Now I know I am late to this, but I never commented when it came out, so I will do it now.
I honestly forgot how much I liked this. It is absolutely incredible. Lighting, set, even the banished pop n swap custom figures. The music was fitting as well. The halo 3 brute voice was a perfect fit for that chieftain.
I would also like to say that I am sorry the Collab never came to fruition. Things weren't all right though. But at least you got this amazing piece of work.

About that collab, it could’ve gone better. (Could’ve been planned better) but it was a great idea. And no, you’re not the unpopular guy. Stop with that self deprecating stuff- at least not in my RUclips channel.
One last thing: the elite didn’t move the rock. It was the ring itself taking the huge rock to place it somewhere else for repairs.

Fantastic. Only nit picks are the AR used the Halo 3 sound, the Commando and Bulldog and Jetpacks sounded different, and the Shock Rifle used the Beam Rifle sound. Also my preference hates seeing Elites use human weapons despite them doing it in the game. But still loved the action and story telling. Loved the Brute Chieftain character. Too bad there isn’t a way to better hide the blue stuff on their feet
Yeah... I don’t have access to halo infinite’s sound files, so I just used halo 3 sounds. In fact, almost all sounds in the animation are from halo 3 (except for the footsteps, which were all from fallout new Vegas).

I usually download my dialogue from thesoundsresource.com (yes that’s its full name)
The elite at the end was actually recorded by a dude who offered to voice act a character for me.

This was great dude! When the hill just disappeared I thought there was like an invisible hunter or something. But seriously though, language. I know it's funny, but my parents already made me unsub from a guy for milder stuff than that.

First I download them at a website, and then open iMovie. I put the animation in, and then I add the sounds. I usually do this on a computer.
