oh, so you're familiar with 'idol radio', that's good... you won't be getting another novel from me because of that
i have no clue why the staff decided to have mamamoo on the show by themselves, but they did. solar and byul were the hosts, wheein and hwasa the guests. and... well, you see bits of their wackiness with this video. you know the show usually runs for an hour, but this episode went an hour and a half. the staff were so busy laughing that they let the show go half an hour longer than usual. and there were no complaints anywhere
that's actually a thing about all their appearances on any show. the staff is forever laughing at and with them, even on shows where it seems they'd be jaded from seeing idol entertainment every day. that and the fact that the staff at every show also talk about how kind and humble the girls are, constantly being thanked by them and being told to stay in good health and such. several have also mentioned receiving gifts or food, too
oh, and the 'chwisa line' and 'lemak line' names... those need a bit of explaining, esp chwisa. lemak is easy... it's just 'leader + maknae'. chwisa is called 'cooking line' because fans used to say moonbyul's head shape and lighter skin made her look like a rice grain and wheein's character in "um ah oh yeah" was named kuku, which is also the name of a rice cooker brand. so, 'rice grain + rice cooker = cooking line'
all the members hate aegyo, or at least forced aegyo. all four are amazing at it when it comes naturally, though. and the others constantly ask wheein to be cute because she can pretty much do it at the drop of a hat, despite hating doing it
also, when they were crying here it was while they were talking about how important they are to each other. noneof them have ever been good at expressing that and they always cry when they try to.
solar managed to show one of the reasons she's such a good leader now, by how she's absolutely willing to make a spectacle out of herself if that's what it takes to cheer the others up... she's done that multiple times over the years, esp when wheein and/or hwasa were dealing with bad news
oh, and actual comedians like shin bora and kim shinyoung have said that all four members of mamamoo are like junior comedians, they're all just so naturally funny. kim shinyoung is actually pretty decent friends with all of them and absolutely dotes over wheein all the time. she's also a radio host and tries to get them on her show all the time (last time wheein was on it alone but dragged their junior group, the band onewe, with her. she also sang shinyoung's trot song on that episode).shinyoung is frequently the mc at mamamoo fanmeets and the like, including the one with the iconic 'kaesum' moment that will show up in so many compilations of so many different types. she also did a car trip/shopping expedition with hwasa for coca-cola, where the two shopped for clothing for each other (and ate at subway, which hwasa was a sponsor for at the time)

The haunted house in that show is gold.
