KL - and Malaysia as a whole - is FANTASTIC! Check the times on the KL Express train, not the locals... it would probably be better next time. I've got tons of restaurant recommendations I will post up when you start planning your next trip. glad you enjoyed it as much as we did... the people.. the place... the atmosphere... all wonderful!
The water park looked like a whole bunch of fun, sorry you couldn't film much. Loved the light show and airport adventure! I enjoy the Malaysia vlogs Thanks for taking us with you!
Theres another way to the airport from Kuala Lumpur.. you can take the KTM train from KL Sentral to Nilai costs around rm6(less maybe) which takes 1hour.. then take a bus to KLIA which costs around rm2.50.. the last train leaves at 11.. but the last bus is at 11:20.. so if you planned to leave the city in the morning.. this is the best way.. especially at 4:30 - 7pm when theres a really heavy traffic leaving the city.. Or you can take the KLIA express which costs RM55 and the last train is at 12:40am
Awww Aly, thank you for linking my etsy in this Vlog. Never in a million years did I think you would mention it during one of your sessions! You're a sweetheart.
Had so much fun coming along for another amazing whirlwind tour with you. The highlight for me was probably those stunning Batu Caves. Despite the "fail" at the park you still got some cool footage. Lol can't get over how your coffee and juice were delivered! And loved the cute fashion show . I didn't see any undergarments by the way . ahem :)
Yes I enjoyed your Malaysia vlog, sorry you couldn't take more video at the water park. The light and water show you went to see reminded me of the dancing waters at the Bellagio in Las Vegas which is where I'll be in 2 weeks. May not be Malaysia but it some times seems like your in another country.
Glad you enjoyed your holiday here :D There are lots of exciting places in each state in this country actually & i hope you will spend your holiday again (much longer days) so you can explore more on our foods, heritage sites & cultures :D cheers!
When I was in KL in 04 the taxis were real cheap, but I do remember someone there saying that the Taxis were going on strike because the government taxi tariffs needed increasing. I guess they were successful then :D
That was really good advice to save some moolah. I recently was at KL airport for an over night stop over from 12am to 5am and the airport was a ghost town! Also the third dress looked so good on you, I want one! haha :)
I had a 6 hour stop-over at KL airport when coming back from Cambodia. It was the middle of the night, totally dead, everything was closed and I had no food. So I feel your pain haha Always love your videos
That "5 Armies" music you used for the light/water show was perfect!! Seems silly not to allow GoPro's at a water park, but you did get some footage at least!! Good vlog overall!!
Loved the vlog overall but the countdown before the cut was genius. Was that your original idea or did you see it somewhere else? The end mail day was very Casey. I'm on Natalie's website buying some soap for my travelling companion.
The waterpark in Bali, was that Waterbom? We are taking the kids on a cruise next year and one of the stops is Benoa, Bali and we are going to go to Waterbom. If this was the one that you went to I would love to hear more about it.
Just started watching you a few weeks ago. You're inspiring me to save up and take off again for a while. Even though being 'in my 30's' has a stupid feeling of needed to 'settle down'. I'm curious if you could please tell me about other travel vloggers that you enjoy. :). I am really getting a kick out of these videos. Thanks! - Tiffy from Toronto
GrimR34per - Where abouts are you from? I am working downtown Toronto doing marketing and design for a financial firm. Hoping to transition over the next year to being a remote worker, and really leveraging online work (like through upwork). Then taking off to central and south america for as long as I can maintain it!
no don't settle down, that's a lie number one your young maybe you don't "feel" it but you are , the worst thing in my view is having missed opportunities because of conforming to ideas and other lifestyle. do what makes you happy , trust me I've met people in 30's and early 40' who have traveled and look better physically and mentally because they work on themselves and are having fun
if u need using a Wi-Fi for free go to the dosa/dosei place (they have it around malaysia, so worry no more) and ask the waiter for the password. so u won't have trouble to upload ur vlog anymore. I hope u enjoy ur time in kl. :)
new camera?canon g7x? or sony @5100.always interested in new shooters, can you give some intel?i tought you shoot with the go pro all the time.thx, keep vlogging

GoPro's banned?! Silly heads. Today is my birthday, it's too hot out for cake so I'm having cold cantaloupe. This year of life I said that I wasn't ready to settle down and stay in one place so I'm going back to my travels. I've missed the nomad life.
