You felt it like I did. The words, the visual, the execution!!!! This is beyond the Beyonce' (pop queen) hype. There is something going on in her that she is gracious enough to share with us. Between her Coachella performance and the whole album The Gift, I am blown away at her selflessness and how she is paying it forward to these artists from around the world. She is giving them a stage that most only dream of!! This is so much "BIGGER"!!! I honestly am emotionally overwhelmed every time I hear or see any of this album. It's almost too much to be able to absorb. I don't care if you're a Beyonce' fan or not, this is undeniably a true GIFT!!!!

Here in Brazil for exemple when we talk about our africans ancestors, we only remember the slavery. We hardly think about the big societies that rised there, we remember the lots of movies showing egyptians as white people while they weren't, we don't pay the deserved attention to science saying that Africa is where the human kind was born, the culture, the roots. Beyoncé is trying to rewrite the history. That's why she's the QUEEN ❤
It’s crazy how she manages to implement both her relationship with her daughter and Mufasa and Simba in this song. Just think about it: Simba felt guilt because of Mufasa’s death and he was lost in his identity. He had it very hard to accept his father’s death and he misses him, not knowing how to survive in this cruel and though world. But Mufasa’s essence is in his blood, no matter how hard it is, Simba is going to rise. Just listen to the voice of your ancestors. Legacy, roots of the tree. Same with Blue; She’s already facing a though time with people critiquing her physical appearance and hair, but she has Beyoncé’s blood in her which means she has power, strength and endurance, and no matter how hard it is, she’s gonna rise as well. Beyoncé is the female equivalent of Mufasa in a way; An earthy figure, a mother of us all with experience, wisdom and who has faced challenges in life and still faces it within the family because she is trying to maintain the balance of being a mother, a wife and an artist at the same time. But she will fight and she will pass on the legacy because we are all part of something way bigger.
