Hi Michael Saves can you do a Spanish bundle or live tv Spanish? Both expensive, cheap, and free live tv services. I been look for tv services with the most Spanish channels for my parents to watch. Also thanks your videos has helped me a lot.
I'd say RUclips is worth it for watching your favourite creators, free movies and shows, and a few sampler episodes of RUclips Premium Original Series.
One problem with Peacock: It does get frustrating because sometimes you pick out what you think is a free show, only to find out that episode 2, or season 3, are paid premium channels, as the author mentioned. I just want to point out that it's not always so clear because I've been caught in the previous scenario. And I'm the type that, if I knew the binge channel show would eventually become paid (ie A.P. Bio had 3 seasons free, 4th season premium), I probably wouldn't have started watching in the first place.
Currently I get Pluto TV and Tubi and yes they have ads but the ones you pay for including cable have ads too! Pluto has massive content, a great line-up and easy selection format. Tubi is really good for movies and have a much larger selection of movies. Love them both😁
Great video as always. Now, let's try and stump the channel creator. :) Which streaming service(s) offer the most content with audio description? Thanks in advance.
Adds on RUclips movies: I have watched a few RUclips movies. There were no adds at all. These were movies hosted by RUclips itself, not private uploaders. I was using Firefox browser with 3 of the popular add blocker browser extensions installed. I believe the add blockers on the Edge blocker will probably work too. Not surprisingly the add blockers on Google Chrome blocker did not seem to work nearly as well. Example very recently: Its a Mad Mad Mad World. 3 hour movie, not one single add.
Me too, a large amount of free content. My other free favs include: PlutoTV, Freevee, Tubi, Filmrise & Stirr. I watch RUclips Premium (not YT TV) the most, but I pay the fee to remove ads + includes YT Music which I use everyday. "YT Premium runs $11.99 per month for a single plan & $22.99 per month for a family plan. RUclips Music (millions of tunes) is included in the price of regular RUclips Premium."
I have and use several of the free w/ads services you mentioned. One of the reasons I think RUclips ranks so high on the Worst ad experience list is that ads seem to pop up almost at random, sometimes even mid-sentence. I don't mind the number of ads so much, but the ad placement is often annoying.
PBS has a large amount of free content. My other free favs include: PlutoTV, Freevee, Tubi, Filmrise & Stirr. I watch RUclips Premium (not YT TV) the most, but I pay the fee to remove ads + includes YT Music which I use everyday. RUclips Music (millions of tunes) is included in the price of regular RUclips Premium."
I enjoy most of the free streaming services, but hate the upgrading aspects...I find myself gravitating to Tubi...most of their movies are those I enjoyed during their initial release, and they have a lot of independent films that weren't widely released during their initial run with A list actors...They seem to love Robin Williams, who knew he did a lot of independent films...
If you got a Samsung Smart TV, you get free of charge, Samsung TV Plus with a great many streaming channels. Pluto is good, but they rerun a lot of programs. I love Gunsmoke, the Rifleman and Wanted Dead or Alive TV shows on Pluto and some good old Movies. Loved watching "Missouri Breaks" Movie with Jack Nicholson and Marlon Brando. Man, Nicholson outacted Brando there. If you are into UFOs, Pluto has a dedicated channel explaining that stuff.
We use the mute button when watching these networks. They tend to BLAST AT FULL VOLUME the commercials so we just mute it all till they come back from break
DirecTV streams report argued with me about getting the entertainment packagentertainment package they told me I had to pay extra for the DVR unlimited and they said the entertainment package did not have local channels
I subscribe to RUclips premium, but I did that so I could see RUclips videos uninterrupted (with /out ) commercials- can I also-- watch RUclips tv uninterrupted with premium RUclips? I cut the cord and added sling for tv channels- So I have Netflix, RUclips , sling-- one older tv has Roku.
I have a smart Samsung TV (2019) that has the RUclips tv app on it. I have a membership to RUclips TV. why can't I sign in on this TV? when I scan the UPC code with my phone camera, it brings me to my RUclips TV app, but there is no place for me to enter the code displayed on my TV. It will let me cast from my phone through the RUclips TV app, but I want to use the TV remote.
I have two annoyances with Crackle. It seems to auto play what ever show they are trying to push at the time and I have to stop it to search others. Commercials are insane. Tried to watch Sherlock and the breaks were four minutes or so long. I understand they have to pay for the show, but that seemed a bit much.
I tried Pluto and there were just way too many and long ads. So not my favorite. Freevee is probably the one i like the most. I hardly ever to to Amazon's movies anymore. I do have a problem with Alexa bc she keeps sending me there if I ask for news. I can do without her. 🤣🤣
I can do without Amazon Alexa too! But the funny thing is my dog used to respond to Alexa (her name was Lucy), so I think if I get a dog again I'm naming her Alexa.
I found Pluto to be difficult to navigate but maybe they have changed the layout? I love Tubi and Freevee. I also have Crackle but really don't watch that one as much. Could you do a video (or maybe you have?) on Select tv. Thanks for all the info.
me again...with more questions... do any of the streaming services have a "reminder" option..? if i skip ahead in the channle grid and select a show to see in the future is there an option to have a reminder tell me when the show is about to start..?
I have all these free apps, and I do watch them occasionally. However, after 25 plus years of being able to skip ads (first with VCRs and later with DVRs), even short, occasional ads irritate me. One thing you mentioned is short 10 minute episodes of some shows. With streaming videos, where there is no time slot to fill, there is no reason why all episodes have to be the same length. Let content dictate length. No more do writers have to pad stories to get a 45 minute episode if the story can be told in just 35 minutes. Or maybe some episodes deserve a longer length. With streaming, it doesn't matter.
Peacock network is full of ads when it's working. It's almost impossible to get anything to load anything on my Samsung smart tv. It and paramount are throw away apps.
I have the services you mention but rarely watch them. Why watch older, lower quality shows with ads when newer, better shows without ads are available on pay services? I can see watching the free services if money is a major issue but if you can afford it the pay services are way better.
PS; As a follow-up to my last question, which other free streaming apps did you put up on the screen? Also, I would gladly give this video a like if RUclips had not seen fit to mess up its accessibility in the iPhone app.
God bless you God still more greater then your video is specially everything proven God doesn't lock up at all like people does or internet will do God bless God loves you everything proven he has never left at all it's the people who left him
WHAT...ROKU guide is excellent? You may prefer its guide over Pluto?? That's just CRAZY talk! I just recently started playing with the free Live TV apps and I find Roku's guide to be the WORST of the bunch! While it does offer a good quantity of channels the quality of the interface is terrible. When you have over 100 channels category headings & the ability to save favorites is a MUST and despite be prompted to create a free account which specifically said I would be able to save favorites (on Roku app) THIS IS NOT THE CASE (at least on firestick). Furthermore, Pluto's app offers the ability to both sort by category & save favorite channels/shows(VOD). The interface is really quick & smooth & easy to use which makes Pluto's Live channels section the one I use most. I don't mink having to login/create account in order to get the better interface but I don't think I even had to login for Pluto. Xumo & Tubi also offer the also have the ability to sort & favorite although the interface is not as smooth. Freevee also offers over 250 channels but you can't access the Live TV section from within the app (I have yet to find it). You have to use the firesticks "LIVE" tab then drip down & click on the "Guide". Its a workable solution but its clunky process as you then have to leave the guide to open the app itself, etc which makes going back and forth between the apps (other Live channels can be added on a VERY LIMITED basis...which I don't really understand either) and the Live Guide. Appreciate the spirit of the vid even if it didn't apply in my situation (firestick). I assume the interface is much better on dedicated ROKU hardware.
The Pluto TV interface can be a bit too "busy" for some users. That's the feedback I've received and agree as a user myself. But I appreciate you sharing your views! Everyone has different preferences.
@@MichaelSaves thanks for your content, I sub'd. Sling Freestream also looks to have good quantity of channels. I think you need to create account to save favorites which I have not done yet. I must say I am really impressed with the content on these free apps. Sometimes you just want to chill and channel surf till something catches your eye. I really appreciate the categories some offer so I don't have to scroll thru tons of news, reality shows, etc when I'm not in the mood. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for watching! What are your favorite free streaming apps and WHY do you prefer them?
Happy Father's Day and thanks for all you do for us all. ☺☺

If you can ever get peacock to work it's awful
Where exactly are all this free content on peacock if it ever loads. I dumped mine.
I recently bought a Roku.... I really, really like Pluto TV......

Agree. Better movies on Tubi!
Great video as always. Now, let's try and stump the channel creator. :) Which streaming service(s) offer the most content with audio description? Thanks in advance.
I pay $5 month for PBS Passport. I consider it a worthy donation and having the ability to watch full seasons of my favorite shows is awesome.
There's a surprising amount of free content on the PBS app. I was shocked.
For me some honorable mentions would be Spotify, Twitch (Twitch not on Roku), Vudu (Vudu has a big free section) and CW.
Adds on RUclips movies: I have watched a few RUclips movies. There were no adds at all. These were movies hosted by RUclips itself, not private uploaders. Tubi is excellent, and ad block works on it too. So free content without the ads. 👍
Really? That's interesting.

Very good point
Good to know as an option. Thanks for sharing. I will give them all a try. Cheers !!😎
What drives me crazy about apps like Tubi is not the commercials, it's that you keep getting the same commercials over and over.

Watchlists on streaming services make them useful than writing down notes with the names of the shows you want to watch

Pluto TV is really cool BUT I was watching Saving Private Ryan for free and there were commercials every 3 or 4 minutes apart .

Roku just pulled Miami Vice. Uuugh! I was halfway thru the last season!
Tubi is the only one in this list available in Australia (maybe the same in other parts of the world)

Yeah, it’s not a substitute to quality shows which you most likely have to pay for.
Tubi has some great titles, sometimes it feels like a pay service
