I have read about and seen videos about this stuff for years and was surprised to learn a bunch I hadn’t heard before! Best telling of the lawsuit I’ve heard! Happy that the Krofft brothers got what they deserved! :) Sad to see McDonaldland fade away, but considering that it’s raison d’être is to prey on children in order to sell them deathly food, I guess it’s a good thing - H. Willard Scott’s original Ronald, with the box on his head, was more of a scary design than later Ronalds. The same with the Hamburgular who was also hideously scary to me as a kid. I’m not sure what McDonald’s was thinking? Whoever signed off on those designs didn’t have kids or just hated kids. I’m surprised they stayed with the whole clown theme?
Clowns and puppets are no match for John Wick: Parabellum action figures I guess. I wouldn't mind seeing a return to trippy puppets again though. They remind me of the old troll mascots at the pre-Six Flags Magic Mountain, and my simple childhood.
