I heard rumors that Disney was considering an episode 10-12. Some people saying that it would maybe star Bri Larsen, Keanu Reeves, and maybe Gal Gadot as the characters. But it could've just been a rumor that came about during when the sequels came out.

Disney needs to figure out how to have a sure fire hit. And there has been so much grown apathey for all the main franchises that have been run into the ground. Theres very little chance they will have recover. Many people like myself have moved on.

Great points. If it were done right I'd be able to enjoy without reservations. My main beef was how unjointed and inconsistent the plot and characters were

I agree-this could be good, but there’s a problem: it’s too late.
Fans saw the announcement of a Rey movie (or trilogy) as more of an insult than a reason for excitement.
Right after it was revealed, two reactions dominated the discussion:
1."Boycott" - A deliberate protest and pushback against the production.
2. "I don’t care" - Apathy, which has already killed multiple franchises before.
If you look at fan-made content, Rey’s popularity is a disaster.
Characters who have never appeared on-screen get more fan attention than she does.
I would dare say that Rey is one of the most hated characters because she is de facto the face of the sequels.
And if you analyze the sequels, Rey has no meaningful character arc.
So now, are we going to continue this trend or pretend she has actual motivations?
Like I said it is too late.
At this point, Rey is nothing more than a narrative trap. She is doomed to fail-unless one thing happens: Rey dies.
That would free the story from this trap and allow new characters to take the spotlight.
Honestly, I don’t see any other way.

Daisy is liked by fans but the problem is that fans don't trust Disney especially in the case of Rey who, as I wrote, is a narrative failure.
It's not about the actor, it's about the character and Disney

See guys I told you the actress Daisy Ridley. Has got style. She really wants to proceed. She wants to make a legacy for Star Wars. Just like Anakin Skywalker and Luke Skywalker did. And I'm sure. if those three were together they will make an incredible . Trio. prequel original and sequel god of the force Anakin Skywalker with his son. and new Skywalker Rey and I'm sure dawn of the Jedi will do a crossover or explain everything probably the first original Prime Jedi is the first Skywalker just like George Lucas wanted
