if the Philippine tour wasn't announced in a last minute fashion, i'm sure there would've been at least 5000 more people in the audience. as it were, filipino fans watched in singapore, seoul, and tokyo thinking u2 would not perform in the Philippine arena.

U know when I was a teenager, I bought U2 cassette tapes, then goes to CDs when I was at 30s nothing passess me whenever they had new album. I downloaded every U2 songs in my cellphone I play it anywhere motorcycling, cycling even I played U2 songs in my guitar. But this concert was just the only thing I missed.

It's cute how Bono and the Edge give a "wai" gesture to the audience when (1) it is not Thailand they are in and (2) it is not a common gesture of expressing thanks by Filipinos. BUT, being in Asia, they thought it was the most respectful thing to do, and it was still very NICE of them to do such a thing.
