I think its not about the hand under the ball, he takes 2 mini steps then another 2 mini steps unless they wanna call it gather steps again with that one but no he was already holding the ball after that dribble, he should not be holding ball after that dribble to take 2 steps THEN hold the ball take another 2 steps to call it a gather. Gets me
I see the first 2 steps and the 2nd 2 steps, the first is the normal like when you about to hezi. I get what everyone saying, but according to the rules, his dribble is still live you can take multiple steps.

No people found holes in the rulebook thats evolution now it singles out people who can really play defense vs people who just foul all the time because Jrue Holiday Alex Caruso and many other dont have problems playing defense without fouling now theres just a way bigger skill gap from because a person who plays good defense and a lockdown defender

@ Sounds like you cant adjust defensive rules were much more loose when it came to fouls now that you have to slide your feet time a pattern and your not able to just throw your weight into a person you cant play defense anymore
