Fishing with my dad in Leon Creek

Starting at the Pleasanton Road Trailhead on the Medina River Greenway, the first water crossing you come to a mile west of the trailhead isn't the Medina River, but Leon Creek. Mostly dry in the north part of San Antonio, this part of the creek has water in it year round.
Flooding here over the summer and in October eroded a portion of the south bank, making it more accessible to fish, and brush piled up against the bridge formed a calm pool on the other side where fish love to sit. They aren't lunkers, but the point isn't to catch big fish, just to have fun catching any fish.
