Alternatively, how many allies can you kill in Halo CE, 2 and 3 without dying? I’m telling you, this is harder than it sounds. The Ark alone is going to make this a difficult challenge
I played that campaign so many damn times and i never once thought about sword lunges being a yeet source. I was the og, ninja jump/grenade jump/crouch jump parkour master of Zanzibar. New every nook and cranny of the roofs.
In the oracle on halo 2, I jumped at the exact same time the broken cables released the roof into the sky. That stunt shot me straight up like a rocket!
The "glitch" with Emile is actually intentional, because Bungie wanted to ensure that the player would make it across if Emile was driving, yet the AI seemed to not be able to manage it on its own. So, the next best thing was to just generate a force on the vehicle and force Emile and the player to jump across.
The virgil surfing is achievable with Hunters too, I used to use this as they wouldn't hit when you're on their head... their bond brother would though, that's why you get a co-OP buddy and Hunter Joust.
I noticed a few weeks ago that the physics for the Falcon got kind of messed up for a short time in Reach on the MCC. Although it seems like its been fixed now, before whenever I got into a Falcon in multiplayer weird movements would happen and sometimes the Falcon would just go flying off into the air.
Also to add, in the halo 2 anniversary cutscene in “Scared Icon.” there is a part where the phantom flies backwards. It’s quick, so you may not see it.
The first time I saw the H3 dumpster one was when a rocket knocked the dumpster on top of 2 Flood enemies. The thing just slowly lifted straight into the heavens and 12-year-old me thought it was hilarious
I haven't tried to recreate it, but shoot at the phantom where the hunters drop on Regret in H2A with the scarab skull on and it might just start flying crazy, idek how to describe it
okay, dubstep Vergil being able to fling the player around makes sense from a lore perspective. the engineers are actually capable of exerting quite a surprising amount of force and lifting quite a bit of weight. in the books they push people around on occasion among other more awesome stuff (go read the books, all of them, they're great).
Had a Flood infection form in Cortana infect an Elite corpse. Armor changed from Blue to Red. It became invincible to my Energy Sword, and just blindly charged at me without attacking. Then I switched weapons and it exploded. Would have expected that from, like, launch PC MCC, but this happened today. Halo 3 feels just slightly off-kilter, and I don't know if that's just how it *is,* or if something broke. I've had enemy AI break if I do something unexpected, ice physics extend into midair, Marines can shoot the Gauss at Ghosts but not Banshees.....
Once, while playing reach, I was in a gunship that for scripting reasons I couldn't get out of. Well, just before a checkpoint, I had either an entire wrecked banshee, or a part of one, land on the gunship. This caused my gunship to be stuck for about 5-10 minutes slowly floundering and trying to get out from under it.
It's completely unrelated but I managed to get a Scorpion, a Gauss Hog, and a Transport Hog in the final firefight area of Coastal Highway yesterday entirely by myself.
My personal favorite is the reach blender. Step : Make a box out of the really big walls. (leave top open) Step 2 : Put as many vehicles and explosives in there. Step 3 : Set rotation snap to 90 degrees. Step 5 : Get a grid and rotate it vertically. Step 6 : Carefully put grid in box. Step 7 : SPIN! (you will be laughing for at least 15 minutes straight)
My weirdest was back in the Reach days, my mate and I had pretty unstable internet and frequently experienced lag glitches, which would normally be irritating if Halo didn't make them so entertaining by desperately trying to keep you connected. I had a rocket launcher equipped and tried shooting at another player, the game lagged and my rocket disappeared, so I start running after the opposing player only to have my rocket reappear and slam into the back of me, I got a suicide for it and when we checked in theater mode the rocket literally just reappears where I was standing not 2 seconds prior
11:16 I'm curious if the Party Bus has anything to do with the special interaction those grav lifts have with their platforms, where they hang in stasis. Players and vehicles and grenades just go up once, but maybe props of a certain size "stick" to the grav lift and become a platform. We all know they're not just balancing there with Halo physics. I wonder if you can hang anything else on them 🤔
I remember always breaking out of the map on reach, don't remember how too anymore but I'd go as far as going out of the tip of the spear map and trying to reach the other spires, or the war zone in the background
The last one reminds me of this old H2 Ivory Tower drop right next to the overshield. We used a oddball to do it back in the days, but I bet it's possible the same way you guys showed it in the video. Great stuff!
In Danger Canyon for Halo PC you could use a similar trick that's used on Death Island with glitching past the invisible barrier. If you go to the back of each base with a ghost and ram yourself through the wall with it like on Death Island, you can jump from one base to the other one since it's a horseshoe shape map.
I always loved doing the super jump on ascension in halo 2. Where you crouch in a corner then jump in a certain spot. Also when it comes to getting out of bounds areas the pelican, in metropolis, that drops off the tank before you go into the building. You can jump into it and it will take off with you. Leading it to flip around out of bounds. I did this on the og halo 2. Not sure about master chief collection. Just a glitch I found that I haven't seen you guys cover. Thanks for the content you guys are great!
At the beginning of crows nest. Where you first get your guns while you wait for the soldiers to open the door for you, if you stand right behind him touching his back you will be pushed by weird pressure and sometimes die.
In Halo 2 on the map Metropolis, there are supposed to be a few Phantoms. One spawned right behind one of those road blocks around mid section of the bridge in the beginning of the map.
I did the Reach elevator glitch on accident. It’s possible on singleplayer, you have to run in the gap. I actually survived on top of the elevator. You can even press the button again to go up. Also, for some reason there is a instakill wall between the elevators.
Another one in Halo 2 on level delta halo where you're perusing Prophet, before entering the first water elevator (the elevator must remain un-arrive), *if you're on co-op, either you or your teammate died, if you/teammate stand infront of the elevator entrance (and make sure the area was clear of enemies) once you/teammate respawns, it will always fall down the elevator and kill, repeatedly, if you didnt move away
7:17 halo ce ghost did have weird physics, but all of the vehicles all had the same but just different ones had different "wheels" to move around, and funny enough the glitch to phase though solids, your player is actually vulnerable for a brief moment only to the vehicle when exiting, cause the hit from a vehicle is instant no matter the speed
I remember watching a Halo Infinite vid where someone managed to use the explosion of the special Skewer and a warthog, and the grapple shot, to fling himself across the map, all the way to Outpost Tremonius. Probably the best use for physics in Infinite.
To this day my favorite glitch is driving up the walls with the tank in Halo 2 and eventually having it flip backwards, then driving another tank onto the upsidedown tank, then have someone get an overshield and get inside the top tank while someone else flips the bottom one and the tank on top gets launched at high speed, bouncing around the level until the guy inside finally dies
The Package bridge part is actually intentional to ensure the player makes it across the bridge if theyre riding shotgun. also fun fact, in the original 360 version it also did it if you drove the moving van all the way down there since it wasnt fast enough to make the jump. i remember wiping out in the van just before reaching the bridge but it ended up violently sucking me across it anyways
Load an elephant in Halo 3 full of explosive props and set them all to respawn instantly. Toss a grenade and watch the elephant go flying around Sandtrap, possibly forever.
The way the Halo 3 physics handles force applied to dead bodies makes me think some modder could make those stretch points sever at a certain force level for a gore mod
Back when i played halo 2 religiously, the level you play as the arbiter towards the end, before the level you meet ol boy in the wraith, you can jump off a very specific cliff in the beginning and bypass the entire level. As an added bonus, your body will splat and bounce in the background of the cutscene like you're not alive talking to ol boy
8:00 I did this when i was a kid!! by accident of course, i ended up just being able to walk forever in the water, going out miles away from the map! Its always puzzled me so much but now i understand!
if you think about it those halo three rag doll stretch physics probably actually happen because although the body is ripping apart and going “splat” inside the suit, the mjollnir armor is strong enough to not be torn apart
Me and my sister were playing multi-player on Halo 2. The map in New Mombasa with the construction site and bridge. I drove a Scorpion off the bridge and into the hanging beam and suddenly it launched me and the tank right out of the map.
One of the reasons I really liked Reach was Fails of the Weak. I remember the vehicles (mainly the ghost) just borking occasionally and speeding off into orbit. That was SOO funny.
At 2:48 does anyone know what map he’s playing on in Halo Reach? I’ve played that game a ton but I don’t recognize that one and it doesn’t look like the forge world I remember.
in Halo 4 you can jump on the Rear Landing Gears on the Mission Pelican (or forge in MCC), it will straight up launch you away. on the Original Mission it is even Possible to get thrown and Splattered against the Hangar Walls of the Infinity before the Mission or against the Tower Walls outside in the Mission. in MCC Forge however you can even clip through the Pelican Body which results you being Trapped inside the Pelican, but you can get out by entering and exit the Vehicle cockpit. in Halo Reach and 4 Teleporters - Placed on Objects (like Staium Walls acting as a Bridge/Platform) with the Porpose of Teleporting Light and Heavy Vehicles results in unpredictable Behavior with Revenants and Wraiths causing the Wraith instant Orbit Launch with almost 100% chance falling to death/explode on impact, in 4 on forgeworld its even Possible to explode on top of the Map because it takes to long for the Wraith to fall back down before the soft Kill Barrier timer runs out. the revenant in the other hand seems having issues with Stadium Walls, causing them to instant 0 to 1000kph boost splatter everything out of its uncontrolable way, also resulting almost 100% into self destruction once it hits a Static optject that the revenant cant get through, even explodes from the ground he gets launched on. in Halo 4 you can let the Scorpions spin as fast as Possible by place them on a Ground you can edit, such like the Blue Grid. take the Grid, hold you Monitor Character's boost button and just Tap the button to fly highher, causing the Scorpions spinning out of control and become Deadly Beyblades.
Heres a simple one. In halo 3 you can super jump really easily if you just jump on a scaraps back leg at the right time. It can launch you as high as that halo reach pelican jump on tip of the spear.
Back in the good old days before mcc, there was a pelican that picks up Johnson that you could get on top of before it left and it was flop to the ground and spin around and prompt you to enter "banshee" which if you did, it would spin your screen wildly with the rolling pelican and if you bounced just right, you could actually fly with it (supposedly, according to my friend however i did confirm the rolling pelican thing) Unfortunately i think they fixed it with the mcc
only stories i have is both in h3 on tsavo i somehow perfectly parked my hog on its bumper by accident and on cortana during the escape after a big drop through a hole i got killed and respawned to find my corpse stuck in a pillar spazzing out
I remember when I started using forge in Halo Reach and I was messing with Teleporters and I placed a closed bunker with a teleporter inside it and I teleported a Falcon onto the bunker, it was a funny result.
Think the weirdest one I ever encountered was in Halo 2 after cutting the cables, I jumped just as they finally let go and ended up hovering about 2 feet off the floor for around 10 seconds, then died.
On Halo 2 to metropolis if you stand on the scarebs leg at the right time you can fly insanely high, most of the time you’ll die but it’s possible to live and be outside the map
6:56 This happened to me and my friend we were playing just for getting the pelican and phantom and i got moved to just outside of the elevator and got stuck where the elevators go down and it was fun you should try it.
I was just playing on the ark mission. And I did the scarab thing and went outside the map. I broke of the turret, flew over with the acrophobia skull and started shooting the core, the scarab went underground for a moment and since I was in the core space, it pressure launched me and I died from a barrier. Try it out. Hold the interact button on one of the scarabs plasma turrets and wait until you pass a dead tree or 2. Break it, fly to the core, get under the roof of the core space, and wait. You may also want to spam the crouch button so you stop midair. You may want to drop your turret once you get there tho. In the little space I was talking about. You cant stop midair if you dont drop it. That way, we can make sure that it's like halo 2s. And if it makes you invincible like it did on the Oracle level in halo 2
I named my 360 live account after a halo glitch. It was an ODST glitch and I was slammed against a wall by a brute chieftain in firefight. And launched across the map hitting a jump jet brute.
That's an interesting Reach glitch..

Big fan of the Phantom barrel roll. Glad to see the pilots are finally learning air-to-air maneuvers
I accidentally found the halo reach elevator glitch on my second playthrough of the game and I was so confused
Physics do be funni
If I am worthy, DJ Vergil with rub his tentacles on my art.
I once blew up a warthog by driving on top of it with a scorpion in Halo 3, I think it was on Sandtrap, I went FLYING
I named my 360 live account after a halo glitch. It was an ODST glitch and I was slammed against a wall by a brute chieftain in firefight. And launched across the map hitting a jump jet brute.
I did once accidentally jump off the Mongoose right before the jump and watched Emile powerboost over the jump... and right off the cliff.
