I’m so thankful you continued the podcast because this interview is invaluable, especially for those of us who didn’t have the best experience but want to raise our kids with a strong relationship and following the Lord throughout their life!
I couldn't agree more about alone time. I was blessed with godly parents, but in hindsight they really lost my brother and me to computers, "personalized music," and unchecked friendships in our teen years. One rule my husband and I have agreed upon is that there are no screens in private areas and bedrooms of our house. That stuff truly is a wormhole to the world.
These videos are such a blesseing and encouragement for those who are going the opposite direction from the ways and standards of the world. We as believers who have families etc need all the encouragement we can get!GOD Bless you all! Thank you for sharing such wisdom that only comes from experience and obedience/trusting the WORD of GOD.
Thank you for finally having the Elisha’s parents on!! I’ve been following the podcast for the last few years and have gleaned an incredible amount of knowledge and information from the both of you and from Katie’s parents. It was so inspiring to finally hear the other side of the family! So much wisdom to be gained!
Not sure how to ask this without seeming rude... is there a religious background/preference linked to Elisha and Katie referring to their parents as "mommy" and "daddy?" I come from a conservative Christian background and have never heard or heard of this.

Exactly 💯 not many of us have had the best experience indeed! And we WANT to do better for our kids so they can do better for their kids.
We recorded this in early August and we couldn't wait to finally share it!

Thanks for being such a faithful listener to the podcast. We had a blast with this interview!
Love this! This was very helpful, and encouraging. I have 9 children, and my first two have just reached their teens. Thank you!
You're welcome! So thankful Elisha's parents could be a blessing to US and YOU!!
What a blessing both of your parents are!🙌🏻
Great advice on raising teens, thank you
Good wisdom for when the time comes for me!

Wish I’d heard this 4 years ago!
Gems.
Your dad mentioned he sells coffee... Is there a website for that?
😍😍🙏🏻
Why is he calling them mommy and daddy? What duh?!
After the second time a grown man called his dad "daddy," had to turn it off
