    I have a 50% overbite ...well when I was 17. I was told it keeps growing ..I'm 29 and well...when I "correct " my teeth and place them where there supposed to be my jawline and chin look so much better...😢..I need this.

      @@Vakator-29bones fuse back but the titanium plates are permanently fixated for more security

      you can get them removed but it's better if they stay as they provide more security

      I see. I'm worried about things like metal detectors. I just learned tho that it doesn't affect MRI scans which is nice.

      3 months for initial healing at this point it’s practically healed but the full 100% is 6 months

      @@maddythomas4496 that's not how it works doofus. If you're a developing teen and start mewing your tongue pushes the jaw into the right position.

      @@danielanderson6933 name calling is unnecessary. I was referring to ADULTS. Your jaw fuses by 14 so you have a very small window for mewing and things like that to be successful. I discussed mewing, orthotropics, and other options with my specialists and they have all said those do not work once you’re an adult and your jaw has fused.

      @@maddythomas4496 While I agree mewing is mostly useless, fusing of jaw plates is debatable. I read somewhere that it never actually fuses. But yeah the pressure from mewing can not cause any appreciable change.
