I have a 50% overbite ...well when I was 17. I was told it keeps growing ..I'm 29 and well...when I "correct " my teeth and place them where there supposed to be my jawline and chin look so much better...😢..I need this.
@@danielanderson6933 name calling is unnecessary. I was referring to ADULTS. Your jaw fuses by 14 so you have a very small window for mewing and things like that to be successful. I discussed mewing, orthotropics, and other options with my specialists and they have all said those do not work once you’re an adult and your jaw has fused.
@@maddythomas4496 While I agree mewing is mostly useless, fusing of jaw plates is debatable. I read somewhere that it never actually fuses. But yeah the pressure from mewing can not cause any appreciable change.

I would thank my friends from saving me from being a chinlet

How much time to heal?
On god I need one. This and a rhinoplasty would be a life saver
no!!
@@pot-roast-timewhy
You may need double jaw surgery then.
Can you take the screws out?
you can get them removed but it's better if they stay as they provide more security

I see. I'm worried about things like metal detectors. I just learned tho that it doesn't affect MRI scans which is nice.
Leafy needs one
What about fillers?
unhealthy and unnecessary, the root cause is in the bones not in the dermis area
wtf they slice the jaw. i thought they just put something there and screw it on. i want a titanium implant. look better and durable
How long will the bone heal ??
3 months for initial healing at this point it’s practically healed but the full 100% is 6 months
@@duckymomo7935 is there any numbness?

Yes for a few months to possibly forever; different for everyone
Mi Les forever? Why forever?
Meep Meep irreversible/irreparable nerve damage, not all bodies are the same; some people won’t be able to heal or repair said nerves

How about Mewing?
Mewing cannot change bone structure
